It is our mission to lay a healthy foundation for Fitness and Sports in children that will last a lifetime. We are not as interested in creating world class gymnasts and dancers, as we are in strong, confident people. Our Program is Child development based, which means we challenge kids at age appropriate levels for social as well as physical skills.
Our Program is progressive and curriculum based. That means we have a set structure to each class and each session. All classes are designed to challenge a range of skill levels with lots of individual attention. We keep an age-appropriate student-teacher ratio for safety and spotting. Our classes are designed to keep kids moving as much as possible with limited sitting and waiting.

Services
Children attend classes with an adult. Children enjoy motor development & rhythmic activities, group games, tumbling, gymnastics skills, movement exploration and music. Muscular fitness through gymnastics skills, motor skill confidence, and perceptual awareness are the focus of age-appropriate exercises and activities.
Classes are 1 hour for beginner level and 1 1/2 hours for Intermediate through Advanced levels. Most classes are co-ed, with a few exceptions. Classes above the beginner level require a base set of skills. Teachers evaluate gymnasts in an ongoing system as they participate and will recommend moving up as the proper skill requirements are met.
Tutoring is available for 30 minute or 1 hour lessons. Sign up is available online during regularly scheduled times this summer and by request. You can choose to work on any skills you'd like or have a privately run class. Equipment is disinfected between students and there is minimal student crossover in the lobby.
Aurora Kids would love you to try out a class for free. Any child that has never attended our Program can check out their first class on us. If you have multiple kids in your family, they are each welcome to a Free Trial class. We want you to love and understand the Aurora Kids Program and be sure our class expectations are in line with your families' needs.
Parkour Gymnastics is what kids try to do at home. It's the stuff that running and jumping and playing looks like in an unstructured environment. Guess what! It's really good for your child. It teaches problem solving, focus, perseverance, agility, strength, patience, coordination and more. All in a naturally challenging and rewarding environment.

I've been taking my son to the parent & toddler classes now since April 2021. It's a great activity that gets us out of the house for something different, but my son is also learning gymnastic skills as well as building strength in a fun, relaxed environment.
The studio is very clean, and there are 2 large gymnastic rooms. They also offer dance classes as well as parkour. I'm not sure if they have a dedicated studio space for the dance classes. If not that would mean they need to rearrange the gymnastic rooms. They have quite a lengthy list of different classes broken down

Birthday party- very pleased with kids birthday party. For $250 they provide 3 people who help make the party easy. They help with set up, organized activities and serving cake and organizing presents and who brought what. Their efforts allow parents to enjoy their kids and take pictures. I recommended bringing some extra cash to tip the fine gymnasts who make your life easier.

My granddaughter goes here for classes and has loved it right from the beginning. I’ve noticed the staff try to make all the kids feel included. If the kids are having a hard time, or feeing overwhelmed, the staff take the time to speak with them, although they never push the kids.
We had tried ballet before at a diffrent ballet studio and all they seemed to care about was charging me every month for lessons she was too shy to attend.
We had never felt that way at Aurora, although you pay up front, that’s it, your done. In addition, the staff to student ratio is very good, and many of the

I'm stopping to write a review because I'm surprised that Aurora Kids doesn't have a higher star rating and more reviews. The classes are great and their birthday parties are the best! The staff is very good at directing the kids, even those preschoolers (like my son) who needed a little more reminding about following directions, etc. Everyone I know loves this place. Definitely worth going! They also have open gym for the littles. Not as fun as the actual classes, but a good option for the under-3's. Their summer camp is also highly recommended by friends (we haven't done

This review is for their open gym time. The facility was easy to get to, and looked clean and well cared for. My child was itching to go into the gym area as we walked through the main doors and we had never been there before. The young ladies behind the counter were friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter had a blast, worked out all her extra energy and didn't want to leave. The activity was well priced and and I was one happy parent. We will be back for open gym and possibly the winter season of gymnastics.

Anchorage is hurting for clean, constructive indoor activities for kiddoes, and Aurora Kids goes the furthest to alleviate this ache. They have classes and open gyms for kids of all ages and skill levels. The rooms are set up to be safe, fun, and functional with lots of things to climb and jump on for younger children and to practice skills with for older kids. The classes are a nice balance of structure and free play at the toddler level, and fun without being over-bearing or super competitive as the levels progress. The instructors I've met (Miss Angel and Miss Miriam) have been wonderful
