The Anchorage Gymnastics Association opened it's doors in 1978. Since then, AGA has been involved in promoting the sport of gymnastics throughout the state of Alaska. AGA offers a variety of gymnastics and educational services. From preschool to high school, AGA is Alaska's premier gymnastics related organization.
Over the years, AGA has established a nationwide reputation of excellence. Many of our students have ascended into the national gymnastics scene, including the national finals. While our competitive gymnasts are a source of great pride, we feel that our largest contribution to Alaska is our work with children and teenagers.

Services
Our programs provide interesting experiences for children to develop gymnastics skills, with an emphasis on building self confidence. The Anchorage Gymnastics Association is a progressive and unique gymnastics sports facility. Training begins with the fundamentals of gymnastic movement and progresses to the higher levels of skill.
AGA offers a very unique Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten program that is licensed by the Municipality of Anchorage. Our Gymnastic Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Program is based on learning through play experiences and gymnastic movement, with an emphasis on academic procedure. Reading, math and science are incorporated into daily activities.
Parents are welcome to observe any class at any time from our designated observation areas. A. If your child misses a class and has a doctor's note, he/she can make up the class on another day within the same session. A. No! We have an academics-based preschool program which prepares a preschooler for Kindergarten.

This is a wonderful place for children, they have a great after school program, provide pick up for kids for a low rate, the staff is amazing and very nice and professional! My 6yr old daughter loves the sports camp and the gymnastics classes they offer!! Its a great place for children to grow and develop, highly recommended!!

For me AGA was a great experience when I first moved to Alaska from Australia it was a hard weather change for me and I was nervous but the girls made me feel like I was at home. The bond between the team was a family and its something you can't forget. The coaches were amazing they pushed me to be the best that I was. There were some off days but they still helped me through it.

I saw the other review and just had to counter! My youngest attended Pre-K here and she's only 4 and she is already reading sight words! It's amazing. I gave it only 4 stars, and not a perfect 5 because they do not have a food program and yet their costs are level with others that do. But what my daughter has gained in preparation for school is totally worth it! So, otherwise I'm thrilled the kids get physical exercise options in the winter when it is cold! I'd tell any parent to jump on their childcare program here! I'm a YES!
