Services
We partner with local artist Tami Roth from A Touch of Color for all of our WINE + PAINT classes! Tami is a retired school teacher who brings so much talent and fun to the classes. We host classes on canvas, pallet boards, wine glasses, canvas totes and more! Classes are scheduled on an irregular basis so check our events page frequently.
Our desire to pull from the past to build a new future is embodied in our new Tasting House. Formerly a "Bunk House" for rail passengers on the Manistee & North Eastern Railroad, this century-old edifice has been renovated and enlarged with a field stone porch, providing a serene, rural setting to enjoy our fine wines and hard ciders.
We're are looking for a few great people to join our growing team for both tasting room locations! MUST have Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability. Douglas Valley harvests cherries, blueberries, apples and of course wine grapes. During harvesting months we have a Farm Market overflowing with local vegetables including tomatoes, green beans, onions, peppers, zucchini, squash, fresh herbs and beautiful flowers OFF THE FRONT PORCH OF OUR OWN FARM MARKET.
Now available are the first 18 estate farm lots, each with a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. These 2 to 6 acre parcels offer rural living amidst our vineyards and orchards. Each lot has a 1 to 2 acre designated dwelling site, chosen for optimal scenery. The remainder of each parcel will be dedicated to agriculture, which the property owner may farm themselves, or contract with Douglas Valley Farms for vineyard and farm management.
