Bethel Highlands Preschool

All of our classes are formatted for developmentally appropriate expectations. Each day includes a balance of structured and guided unstructured time, with the understanding that learning happens best through play and experience. Classrooms are set up to encourage growth in spiritual, physical, emotional, social and cognitive development; in a manner that reaches all learners.

They have such a diverse, fun, and active curriculum for the children. My daughter jumps in the car after school and gives me a smile and thumbs up when I ask about her day! That is all need! After a rough couple of drop-off days, the staff at Bethel Highlands Preschool worked closely with our family to plan and execute a better transition for our 5-year-old that had never been in a daycare before.

This class may not be repeated unless special permission has been granted by director for developmental reasons. Bethel Highlands Preschool offers childcare for those children who are enrolled in a full day program, and after school care for those children enrolled in the afternoon classes. Breakfast and afternoon snacks are served.

All of our teachers come with experience and education that is far beyond the licensing standards. We are proud of each and every staff person here, and together provide diverse styles, gifts, and ideas. Our teachers are all required to have criminal background checks and references prior to hire. Every teacher is certified in CPR, and required to participate in several hours of continuing education each year.

All of our programming is planned within the framework of a flexible and responsive curriculum, based on the Creative Curriculum. Our interest-based curriculum encompasses all the developmental areas, with an emphasis on learning through play in a structured and intentional environment.

Each week contains academic skill builders, social and emotional skill builders, STEM and sensory, and specials (such as music, art, and fitness), in addition to the basic lesson plans.The teachers enrich the environment and expand on the learning to best suit the goals and needs of each individual student.
