The personification of incompetence is this office, especially with money hungry sad excuse of a doctor. She is disrespectful, rude, forget about professional and non existent bedside manner.
1. The office is a mess with billing, insurance, scripts, follow ups, appts and communication!

I've been going here for 3 years, and luckily my only health problems involve asking for prescriptions so I could deal with the lack of compassion and thoroughness. I recently moved to the area and decided to establish care with Dr. Rocha Farooq. I'm a cash paying patient and was researching doctors in the area who treat mental health because I needed to change my antidepressants. Her website states that she can take care of patients with mental health issues. I called to confirm and ask if she would also write up an ESA support letter. (NOT MY COMPLAINT so READ ON - I was already planning to switch doctors. Every 3 months for over a year or more, I was required to return for a BP med. Excessive considering my circumstances. So, likely for the co-pay.
My BP regulated along with exercise and weight loss but she insisted that I still come every 3 months for my refill prescription. I asked her if I could ween myself once I reached my goal weight and provided my BP stayed low, etc. She said no, that I'd be on this pill for the rest of my life. Anyone knows that this is not accurate and that lifestyle changes, proper eating

She really does prescribe medicine just to give medicine. She doesn’t not listen to your concerns and disregards anything you say. I have always given her the benefit of the doubt but she is the same in every visit. Just because you call someone sweetie doesn’t make you nice or a good doctor. Wow, I can't believe what I'm reading here about this doctor. A family member referred me to this office and I trusted the recommendation. I should have done more research. I don't trust anymore. After 2 visits in 6 months, I believe this doctor is incompetent and inexperienced. All the reviews I'm reading seem to be accurate. If you value and care about your health, I would stay away from this quack doctor. The office seems to all have low IQ's.

I consider myself quite fortunate to have found Dr. Farooq. I have only seen her 3 or 4 times so far but I am so impressed. She is so very knowledgeable, professional and she really listen to the patient. Her compassion comes through in everything she does. The office is very comfortable. It was mandatory that I change my primary doctor because I had to switch my insurance. I read good reviews about this doctor and was expecting a very caring and attentive doctor. Dr. Farooq's office is a great place to go for all your medical needs. Me and my mom both go here and she takes good care of us. We always get out appointments made quickly and the doctor very prompt. She answers all of our questions to the best of her knowledge and if she can not help us she is happy to refer us to a specialist. She cares about her patients and and their needs. Part of a successful business/practice requires repeat business/patients. Looks like you don't have many dr farooq. This was a horrible experience a waste of time. The second, infuriated me, I arrived 15 minutes early like I usually do for all doctors appointments, waited 45 minutes and then the receptionist told me that SHE WASNT EVEN THERE! She was running late because she was at TARGET! are you kidding? She asked if I could wait 15 more minutes, and no.
I never went back and never will.

Dr. Marlene Rocha Farooq is a wonderful, kind, and very knowledgable doctor. She has been my doctor for 5 years now. I see that she has negative reviews mostly for disapointment in staff and rx refill, both of which I comment on below:

Here is the letter I sent her today after her rude staff refused to give her a message regarding renewing a prescription for a recurring problem Ive seen her for a few times for a simple ear infection. I tried to explain I am sitting shiva and cant come to the office and the staff refused to relay the message insisting I come in so she get that co-pay:
