The doctors and their office feel blessed to be in the United States and have access to updated technology. They feel a duty to give back to other countries and people who do not have access. Once or twice a year, they take time to go to another location, usually overseas, for at least one week, to provide ophthalmologic care.

I am so disgusted with this office and it's staff! I had an appt for this morning so I left a message yesterday morning for them to call me back! They did not return the call. I called office again, tried 4x's till someone picked up who was laughing than said hold on and hung up on me. I called 3x again and another gentlemen answered and he had no apology nor care about anything I had to say! He also disconnected me &I had to call back to finally get a new appt. This is not a professional office staff and this is not the way to build up a Dr or it's reputation!!! I am extremely

This is a continued problem. My glasses were supposed to be fixed, after my initial visit to pick them up and the prescription was off. I took them home today it’s still off. They tried to give me my Ray-Ban glasses without a glass case stating that I had already taken one and they were out of cases. I never took the glasses home until today! I don’t understand?
I’ll be calling VSP to discuss this with them. As well as returning the glasses.

Both twins Dr. Julia and Dr .Alice are truly a blessing. They have been collectively treating my mother for Gluacoma and Cataract. My mother eye health has significantly improved. They are always accessible. I even was able to reach them on their personal cell one day when my mom was having some eye pain. Don't know where she would be without their care today. I'm so thankful for these brilliant doctors. I would recommend anyone to their facility. They won't stop until the patient is healed or doing better.

I went through many doctors who couldn't locate the issue or almost threatened me to engage in unnecessary treatment until I've met Dr. Julia Song. I like Dr. Song because she thinks in patients' shoes thoughtfully but can stay professional and cool-headed at the same time. I like her way to patiently monitor the issue to tailor what's needed at the very minimally appropriate level. Also, over years, I got to know that she has helped countless mishaps and unfortunate people by freely servicing them in many places all over the world. I respect her for her heart as well as professionalism

I should've read reviews on this particular doctors office. This review is for the Los Alamitos office, which I can't locate on yelp. 1 pm appointment, finally went into the room at 145 pm. After 10 min of exam, dilate my eyes wait another 20 min before I go back into the room. They are disorganized and from what everyone else is saying lack of communication is terrible. Just listening to the communication exchange between the front desk and patients is already a mess. I should've known better. Save yourself the frustration find a different clinic.

Dr. Julia Song and staff are terrible at communicating procedure/surgical preparations, recovery and expenses. Surgical assistants/technicians/medical assistants lack proper education and training to assist in surgery, perform given tasks (such as eye exams) and answer patient's questions. After months of post-operation treatment from a surgery I was literally given a one day recovery time, I can confidently give Southern California Eye Physicians & Surgeons Center for Oculofacial & Orbital Surgery a one-star rating.

Above and beyond! My father consulted with both Dr. Julia and Dr. Alice, her sister. They and even the technicians in their office were helpful and informative about his condition which I will not disclose for privacy reasons. It has been two months since his surgery and we have had no complications.
One little thing is that the pharmacy ended up switching one of the eye drops to a generic brand that was not exactly what the doctor prescribed. We called Dr. Julia to make sure, and she promptly returned our call with voicemail containing the information we needed.
It is a relief to find a doctor

I'm writing this review to warn people about Dr. Song.
Dr. Song incorrectly diagnosed me with first being a Glaucoma suspect then later actually having Glaucoma.
I have had suspicions about her diagnosis since the beginning, but her most recent diagnosis (that I have Glaucoma) pushed me to find another doctor.
Here are some facts:
1) Eye pressure is normal always around 10 to 12.
2) My peripheral vision was normal on the first test, but not normal on the last visit. I told Dr. Song that something was not right with the test. My eyes were unusually tired that day and I just felt the test
