Sunshine Dance & Cheer is the newest Studio in Livermore. Our mission is to provide a fun loving class where students learn confidence, creativity and gain a appreciation for dance in a positive environment. I started dance lessons for my 3 year old daughter here almost a year ago. We love our class and the teachers here.
My daughter participates in a ballet and tap combo. I edanced competitively myself for over 20 years and have been pleased with the attention to foundational skills and positions. I would definitely recommend the classes here if you are looking to start or continue dancing. Love this dance studio! Teachers really care about the kids, very professional instruction!

Services
Ballet, the basis of all dance forms, is a definite necessity for any aspiring dancer. This class is focused on developing strength, balance, technique, and proper body placement. You will learn to create flexibility through barre and floor work, while developing grace and learning terminology. Examinations are offered for serious students.
4. Any student arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted to class. For your safety and to receive full benefit from your class, please arrange for a make-up class if you expect to be very late. During class if a student complains of being ill, or sustains an injury and cannot participate, the instructor or front office staff will contact parents immediately.
Why are Some Tutu's and Tap Shoes classes only 30 mins? Our Tutu's and Tap Shoes classes for ages 2-3 are usually 30 mins long to accommodate for our young dancers. As dancers grow in age the time in class increases. Should my child be potty trained before enrolling in class? However, if you child is still in pull ups it is ok?

We Love Sunshine Dance and Cheer. They have done a fantastic job keeping my daughter safe during Covid, while still providing her the benefit of in person dance lessons.
The instructors are top notch. My daughter can't wait to go to class each week. This is our third session with Sunshine and we will keep coming back!

My daughter is 4 years old and we signed her up for her first dance class (tutus and tap shoes) via zoom. Because of covid, my daughter needed something to get her moving while still staying at home, and Ms. Samantha had zoom options available. She was so great. My daughter is always very quiet and timid around new people and different environments, and even though it was through zoom with only 2 other little girls, Ms. Samantha was able to connect and instruct so well! Great introduction to dance and it helps that she links the moves and motions with Disney princesses and other toddler-relatable

Positive: Professionalism
My daughters love the classes. My oldest has gone in person and now my 3 year old and 5 year old are taking online zoom classes and i'm so happy they are enjoying the classes virtually. Teacher Samantha is very engaging with the kiddos, gives praises, and is very nice. Highly recommend.
