Services
Individual counseling is intended to develop new ideas about ourselves so we can be more accurate in our thinking and optimistic about our future. Being stuck with inaccuracies and pessimism obscures our capacity to reach a level of happiness that may well be there if we just reach for it. This all sets the foundation to live our lives with purpose and a sense of direction.
While we cannot change the pain in our past or the genetics we are born with, we can learn to change how we respond and react to our feelings and triggers to give them less power and control in our lives. Our counselors are ready and able to serve you. We will match your needs with our clinicians' education and experiences to find the best person to assist you.
The nature of the supervisory relationship is one where counselors can gain professional support and enhance their self-knowledge through clinical supervision. Issues that might be taken to a supervisor include concerns over personal fitness to practice due to health or changing circumstances and instances where harm may have been placed on the client.
Evaluations for employees of federally regulated safety-sensitive positions require a certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) to be called upon if those rules have been violated. The SAP at Dirigo Counseling Clinic has many years of experience in performing these evaluations, which can be done efficiently and at a cost that is much lower than generally seen.
The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term treatment program designed for individuals ages 12-17 struggling in their daily lives due to substance use. Group sessions are focused on substance use education and relapse prevention. They are led by licensed, experienced, and compassionate counselors.

Dirigo counseling has provided me with a very positive therapy experience. The front desk staff are kind and organized. The therapist I saw was not only a great therapist, but she also offered to talk outside, or go on a walk during sessions. I appreciate that they always make an effort to work with you and make sure you’re comfortable.

My experience with this counseling clinic was horrible. I got a DWI 13 yrs ago n accumulated 4 OASs after. So I did DEEP then was ready for the counseling sessions. My first 2, $75 sessions with Holly went great. She told me that I just needed to do one more n I'd be done. Well after my 2nd class I informed Holly that I'd be going to Virginia for 2 weeks on a family vacation. She told me to keep in touch when I got home so that she'd know that I was going to finish. I got home from Virginia 15 days later and the very next day I received a letter in the mail from Dirago counseling (Holly) saying
