Of course I graduated fifteen years ago, but it was then and still is one of the best schools in the state. Many incredible teachers. Provides four levels of study (or did last I checked) general, enriched, honors, and gifted and talented. As well as AP classes at the junior and senior level.
There were limitations that I did not agree with, but they were put in place by the parish and not the school itself.

I loved Magnet. It was the best high school in Shreveport! The atmosphere is completely accepting and just wonderful. I can't imagine a better place to have been for four years. The school work is difficult, but worth the time and effort put into it.
