I went in today with my 88-year old mother. We went toward the back of the store for the most amazing bakery in town, Parisien Gourmandises. The bakery is out-of-this-world. It's a MUST. A++++
The problem was that after enjoying pastries and coffee at the bakery, we were browsing in the flower shop. My mom suddenly needed to use the restroom. Not like we walked into the flower shop and asked to use the restroom. We made a purchase and were asking for the restroom because my mom had an emergency. I asked a tall young male if my mom could use the restroom because she had an emergency

Horrible store!! Don't dare put a foot inside. They are over priced and there customer service was awful. They were rude, annoying, and kept trying to get me to buy something even though I was there looking for gifts in the future. The bakery was awful too. They only speak French and when I pointed to what I wanted they didn't understand. I did buy a bakery item and it was stale and had to throw away. The owner is only going to reply with call me to make a fix. No fix can be done on first impressions. This place will not last long. It will be gone asap.

My daughter and I went in today to browse because the store is beautiful and had a stunning selection of products that we noticed while walking down the street. The minute the blond haired female employee, who was working on a floral arrangement, made eye contact she gave me the stink eye. She even did a once over of me from head to toe. I probably don't look like the average LA Jolla clientele because I'm a curvy mom who lives in shorts and t- shirts. I have never felt so judged and unwelcome in my life. I let my daughter finish browsing and didn't let her know anything was

This review is for the bakery located in the back of the store. my friend bought me a slice of cake (i believe it's called le royal) and it was AMAZING. possibly the best cake i've ever had. it was like a decadent chocolate ganache and mousse cake with a crispy bottom of some sort. a slice was $9 which is on the pricier side.
i tried going back to get some more cake but unfortunately, they're not open on weekends right now. i was able to get their business card and the Floral Palette sales associate let me know that I could also call to place a custom order.

I will start by saying everything they post online looks gorgeous and a work of art! And their service was very quick.
This was my first time ordering from them and I wanted to splurge and get a really nice bouquet for my moms birthday but didn’t want to leave the house due to the quarantine.
I called and told them about 2 pictures I saw online and that my range was $100-$125 ( like the pictures below) they said they will see what they have and make a really nice arrangement. The flowers were delivered as promised on time and they were very fast in their service.
The reason I gave 3 stars

I'm very picky about ordering flowers. I want to know that what I order for friends, family, etc. is *exactly* what they're going to receive. But I'm also very BORED by the selections available from the national floral syndicates (Teleflora, 1-800-FLOWERS, etc.). So, when sending flowers long-distance, I do my homework, find the best florist in the target area and contact them directly to make sure they know exactly what I want.

I'm in awe and in love with this floral arrangement designed by the folks at Floral Palette. I asked for a pastel-themed arrangement for my sister, which I feared might scream 'granny on Easter Sunday'. Instead, they created this gorgeous piece! Working with one of their designers was so easy. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she knew exactly how to work with my budget to create something uniquely spectacular.
