They serviced my garage door today. There was no wait to get an appointment, they arrived on time (observed safe distancing and masking), and they did a great job. The charges were very reasonable. My records show they serviced my garage door last in 2016, when after one service visit by United Overhead Doors I was able to go four years with no problems! Even today's service was more preventive. In comparison, the first 5 years I had this garage door I foolishly continued to get service from the company that installed it, and every single year something went terribly wrong! This company is great and had just what I wanted. I have a brand new garage door, safe and insulated. They installed all new electronics and safety equipment. It took longer to get the door due to Covid and delivery from manufacturer, which they told me about. Once the door was sent to them, it was installed in a week. No fuss no muss, all clean. The installer was terrific. And all for a price lower than the big box stores. They never followed through and I was told to try United Overhead. I should have gone to

Had a great experience with Marco and the rest of the crew at United Overhead Door. For our initial visit, Marco arrived promptly and prepared. We discussed the various options, but because I wanted to think it over, Marco happily left me with materials and let me decide in my own time...no pressure. I originally made an appointment with a sales rep for a Saturday morning. I went all the way up to Yonkers and sat and waited for 15 minutes before being told by the woman at the front desk that the sales rep was out meeting with a client on Long Island and would not be in until the afternoon. Called the vendor to repair the garage door. A technician showed up at our front door asking for a credit card to charge $103.62 service call fee upfront. (which later we learned is three times more than any other reputable companies in town like PrecisionDoor). After charging my credit card, a technician walks over to our garage and without even entering the garage, he tells me that we need to change our entire 2 car garage door and the entire motor system to fix the problem because they are all about 20-30years old and there are no parts to order.
