Abbott Northwestern Hospital US News and World Report ranked this hospital 13th nationwide for Orthopedic Care. Our staff is always available to schedule appointments and answer questions so that your treatment plan is successful. My Baby Boomer friends and patients hope that the 60 or 70 year old of our parent's generation is the 40 year old of today.

The crucial question is whether we can fight physical aging and maintain a high level of function consistent with our increased longevity. My goal is to help you work through your orthopedic condition or injury so that you can enjoy an active pain free life. Advances in orthopedics, both surgical and non surgical, have given us more options for effective treatment.
Services
We are committed to providing every patient with the highest level of orthopedic care with the personal attention each person deserves. With over 3 decades of experience, Dr Engasser understands the frustration of individuals whose active lifestyles are limited by injury or pain. Our primary goal is to get you back running, playing, riding or walking.
Dr Engasser received his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Williams College, majoring in Chemistry with honors. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. After performing a surgical Internship and Hennepin County Medical Center, he received his orthopedic training at the University of Minnesota.
Because of our extensive experience in working with the best rehabilitation providers in the area we can be selective in choosing the right therapy group to provide diagnosis specific care or a detailed home instruction program to treat your orthopedic condition. We do not have our own physical therapy organization so we are free to refer you to the "best of the best" in the entire Twin Cities area.
Our location is on the west side of France Avenue at 615 France Avenue. Appointments may be made in our Edina Office on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Because of new insurance and government regulations, we are required to obtain more information from each patient than in the past, but have tried to keep our forms straightforward and easy to understand.
I had been worrying about it for months and had been running on a treadmill to prepare. Enclosed is the result just after my medical treatment for total body soreness and fatigue. My 12.5 minute mile pace was pathetic even for my "age group" but it was a great family get together. Next year I am proposing hot dog eating contest, for which I am always prepared (and train for daily).
