Downtown Orthopedics has conducted a general orthopedic practice in downtown Minneapolis since 1968. Our services include trauma, adult reconstruction, joint replacement, and arthroscopy. A Board Certified orthopedic surgeon is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Patient appointments are scheduled primarily in the afternoons with some morning time available.

Dr Michael Wengler is terrible. I saw him for confirmation of mallet finger after seeing a great Dr in urgent care. He misdiagnosed me after only reading the xray report but didn't bother to even examine my hand. I went straight to TRIA and they confirmed the Urgent Care dx. This guy's HUBRIS is unbelievable! All ego, no compassion or empathy. The worst!!
