Prism Financial Planning
I founded Prism Financial Planning, LLC in 2013 as a resource where people with varying degrees of financial knowledge can come for unbiased advice. Whether you have no idea what a mutual fund really is or you have been trading stocks for years and have successfully managed your own investments, Prism can help you.

Prism Financial Planning, LLC, is located in Issaquah, WA, where I offer comprehensive financial advice to my clients on an hourly basis. My clients only pay for the financial advice they need, and nothing more. As a fiduciary I only offer my expertise, and never sell any products. Therefore, my clients know they're getting unbiased help with no conflicts of interest.
Services
My rate is $300/hour. This is applied to all meetings and their preparation, as well as the research and creation of your Financial Plan. A Comprehensive Financial Plan usually costs between $3,000 to $5,100, depending on the size and complexity of the client's situation. Of course, I also offer parts of a Comprehensive Plan on an "a la carte" menu, where my $300/hour rate will also apply.
Whereas some brokers (who often call themselves "advisors") may recommend investments to you, you can never be sure whether they're in your best interest, or theirs. That's because brokers are held to the "suitability standard" instead of the "fiduciary standard". That means any investment they recommend must be suitable for you, but not necessarily the best available option.
Everyone's situation is different. Unfortunately, too many advisors try to label their clients and give the same advice for all those clients that fall within the same category. They have to do this because their processes don't provide them the flexability to offer individualized plans. I realize that you are unique.
I'm a Certified Financial Planner who has earned her MBA in Finance and was a mutual fund portfolio manager for many years. By working with me you receive the full benefit of my years of experience and training. You also benefit from my utilization of Morningstar Advisor Workstation for investment research and MoneyGuideOne for retirement planning.
Too many financial planners serve only high net worth clients, focusing on the unique needs the wealthy have. To paraphrase "Seinfeld", while there's nothing wrong with that, I chose to work with clients who may not have millions to invest, but who still want to make smart and informed financial decisions.
