I used Seeley for years to do my taxes because like most people I don't want to be bothered, and also I wanted professional advice. I did not mind paying the costs associated with the service, because I assumed if there was ever an audit and a mistake in my taxes I would be covered by Seeley & Associates.
BIG MISTAKE!!!! I was audited and there was a mistake that costs me thousands of dollars in penalties. When I discussed this with Deb Seeley, she simply became argumentative and told me I was responsible for the entire tax burden and the penalties. I offered a what I thought was a fair compromise
