Our General Auction catalogues are provided as a courtesy to our clients in person. Specialty Auction catalogues are available to purchase at our auctions. When creating these catalogues, we do our best to give a fair and accurate description of each lot. Any item that has multiple pieces in the lot will not have a detailed condition report given, you may send a representative in for you.
During the auction, the auctioneer will announce the lot number and brief description of each lot. If you would like to bid simply raise your bidding card so that the Auctioneer can see and acknowledge your bid. When all of the bidding for a lot is complete, the auctioneer will announce the winning bidder number and the winning bid amount.
Invoices can be retrieved at our reception window at any point during the auction. If you did not attend the auction in person, your invoice will be sent via email at the conclusion of the auction. Please respond to the emailed invoice letting us know that it was received and to inform us of payment and pick-up arrangements.

I have been both a consignor and buyer at Nadeau's Auction Gallery. Both types of experiences have been extremely positive and satisfying. I highly recommend them if you have valuable items to sell, or if you are looking to buy. It is a well-run, family business, with a friendly, professional staff. More than happy to expand on my review and the reason I did not leave a one star review for my shipper. You had my invoice and could have easily given him a box with a pair of lamps considering that they were using a dedicated truck to move the Steinway piano I purchased. It is not true that they would not take them as you now claim. I returned your phone call within 5 minutes yesterday - so you could have easily called me about the same items earlier and received the same response. I've never been charged for storage by an auction house and yes I might have paid a reasonable fee to store one pair

After 22 years buying at Christie's, Sotheby's and Doyle in New York City, I never, NEVER experienced rude behavior like from Nadeau Auction House.
Ed Nadeau should NOT allow this kind of vengeful behavior. I spent gladly ~10K on Bidsquare in 2 months, just to get email from nadeau to fill some form to be approved at nadeau. When I did not fill the form, they put flag at Bidsquare--GO FIGURE, kindergarden, mildly said. NO MORE nadeaus -- will stick with GOOD AUCTION HOUSES, and there are many decent!

Don't expect requests for condition reports or info (e.g., estimated shipping weights) to be answered. Bid at your own risk and don't expect your 3rd party shipping quotes to be accurate since Nadeau's ignores messages (at least the multiple ones that I sent via LiveAuctioneers). Update: Nadeau's saw my review. Rather than respond by providing this customer with the requested info, they blocked me from their auction (as if I'd actually do business with them at this point.) Caveat Emptor!

I have made purchases from Nadeau sales on several occasions, and have have also consigned to a few of their sales. I have, and continue to deal with dozens and dozens of Auction Houses, more aptly put, hundreds. It's my thing, buying and selling. Nadeau's is as equally professional and Customer oriented on the Buyer's (Bidders side) as they are on the Seller's (Consignors side). Eddie and Tara are thorough and professional. I have no reservations in saying that there are a few Auction Houses out there that would benefit from taking some lessons from the crew at Nadeau's.

Update the terms and prices on your websites before you decide to charge an extra 2%. Then they send the incorrect invoice amount and tell everyone to call for the "correct" amount. Sorry, people don't like places that operate like that. Nadeau kept the $30 but they won't get anymore of my business. Avoid.

A very good experience buying several items here over the last several years. Helpful staff always check us out quickly and once helped load a very ornery grandfather clock into the car with great care. Judging from our items, they screen things carefully and items are in good condition, photos posted online are trustworthy and any damage is not obscured. A great place!

I have been doing business with Nadeau's Auction gallery now for a long time and I still cant get over how awesome of an experience it is every time I go. The staff is amazing and is so knowledgeable about all the items they carry and it still baffles me when every time I go and have a question or concern about something they always have the answer. Mrs Tara Guilleaume of Nadeau’s Auction Gallery Inc. assisted me from the bid up to the receipt of my Invoice (I won a marvelous Picasso ceramic in their Auction!) and for the payment procedure. She has assisted me in a professional way and with quick answers.

Ed came to my recently deceased mother's enormous house, efficiently and expertly helped us assess the categories and possible values of hundreds of items.
