Services
Scenic Ridge Campground offers a variety of spacious, grassy or wooded camping sites to accommodate both tents and any size RV. Water and Electric (20-30-50 amp service) is available on all nightly sites. Sewer is not provided at any site however, there is a Dump Station located on premises for your waste disposal needs.
Fitted sheet are provided on the beds. You will need to bring your own pillows, blankets, bath towels and toiletries. Dishes, silverware, cups, coffee cups, spatula, serving spoon and grill tools are provided. VIP wristbands - $10 good for the duration of your stay. 1 free parent band with paid child, limit 2 parent bands.

Schedule subject to change. We will do our best to stick to the schedule and to provide you with every event/activity as posted however, unexpected circumstances may arise which could at times alter this schedule.
Scenic Ridge campground is located just an hour away from Milwaukee, Madison and Rockford and approximately 2 hours from Chicago. To ensure that you arrive without the stress of getting turned around, please print and follow the map and written directions provided here for you. Be careful, online map and direction searches as well as your GPS may not locate us correctly.

We tent camped here for the first time last weekend. It was overall a great experience, the sites were plenty big and we had plenty of room with our large tent and our EZ Up. We also like the spacing of the sites, we didn’t feel like we were on top of our neighbors. The only thing I didn’t like was that we were pretty far from a bathhouse and had to use the porta potty, but that was minor. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and the store and Snack Shack had pretty much anything you would need if you forgot anything. This is a place we will definitely return, even though we are in Illinois

This place reminds me of how my childhood was. Neighbors talking to and visiting with one another. Kids running around playing. Even the old trick of kids looking for bikes to see if one another are at their site or at the park. No one is just sitting their with their faces in their phones. Our neighbor across the road brought us cookies cuz I gave them a fire starter to help with their fire. Our neighbor to the right invited us out on their boat and came over with fireball just to chit chat. Neighbor to the right sprayed the whole area with some liquid to help with bug control.

Great campground. We stayed in the pull through sites and they were very roomy and nice to be able to set up for a group and have community space. Plenty of space to park the boat and trailer. The launch isn't ideal since its right on the road but everyone seemed to make it work. Be ready for some crazy hills to get into the campground :) Great experience, we will be back.

This is a really beautiful campground and has a lot of great features. The lake and bluff ridge hiking trail was gorgeous and the playground was perfect for my kids. I was up on the top of the hill where the sites were very spacious and arguably the best (even though they're the farthest away).
What I'm docking points for are things that can hopefully just be addressed by staff and then I'd of given 5. The one big issue I had was within the brochure there are listed quiet hours (10pm-8am) pointed out at check in and everyone was to be back at their site by that time but there was a group across
