One of the best places to camp period! Friendly staff, quiet peaceful Wisconsin setting clean lake wonderful to take a swim at, I read some of the reviews and all I'll say is some people think they are untitled to free things. The prices are very reasonable!

Tent camping with family and everything has been great lots to do and friendly people. A major downfall for us has been the constant yellow jackets EVERYWHERE. At the site, by the bathrooms, the playgrounds and even the pool. If you are allergic to bees or have young children be careful. My husband went to use the bathrooms by the front office and was stung in his leg just walking from the car to the bathroom entrance. We are avid campers and this is the first time we've ever seen bees this bad at a campground.

Nice campground but definitely needs updates. They still have pay showers, the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often and most of the playgrounds are outdated. The convience store is way way over priced, I know they usually are but almost 8.00 for a bag of ice is ridiculous!!!The pool is nice and they plan out a couple activities throughout the weekend.

I liked the camp ground a lot but you have to pay for everything. My friends were camping there and I live 30 minutes away. I had to pay to visit and they charge per person, not per car. The showers cost money too.

Stayed here for a month while we work our wag back to New England. It's been 2 years since we stayed here, and man this place keeps getting better every time we stay.
They have a small dog run now, which is nice to have when you want your dog to be off leash and run around.
They always keep the grounds so clean and the grass nicely cut, picnic tables at every site and firepits.
The weekends are always busy, but it's nice and calm on weekdays. Fun activities, spacious sites and a lot of water activities to do as well.

Giving this place 2 stars is giving it the benefit of the doubt. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was overpriced. Upon arrival dog crap was found in our site the fire pit was not cleaned. Impossible to get my trailer situated for a number of reasons very unlevel and too tight given the trailer length. I have never been to a place that charges $10 for a half hour to use their jumping pillow. So 3 kids $30 for a half hour!!. Not happening. Firewood was $6.50 bundle and infested with Emerald Ash Borer. Their claim was any wood brought in would be confiscated, Due to spread of EAB. Sad

I thought about giving 3 stars only because my 7 year old loved this place (through 7 yr old eyes...God bless him) but I just can't push that extra star. I'm realizing that I'm not a fan of campgrounds that double as petting zoos or have pens of animals like llamas, alpacas, goats, mules, etc., as was the case upon entering the property. The front desk staff was lukewarm at best. They give you 2 trash/recycle bags to leave for daily pickup so that was nice.

We started down the drive to what seemed to be a very fun set up. A small lake with a floating dock, paddle boats, bumper

Awesome camp site, if you are a uptight glamping family might not be your thing.
This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here with our dog since it's close to home in Chicago. Once in 2017 and then this year. First off remember this is camping there are bugs and maybe even some wild animals. Pack your bug spray, oh BTW sunscreen also since they have sun there too. The sites are a nice size grass with a fire pit and picnic table from r tent sites 38$ not bad. We have now walked the sites twice and it has always been clean and for the most part everyone smiles and some even greet

We spent the weekend here with 2 other families. The camp sites were a good size but were on grass lots with little shade. No sewer hookups, we asked when the reservation was made and were told it was full hookup. Someone took us to our spot, he didn't help us park just showed us the spot and the hookups. We asked where the sewer hookup was and he said they didn't have that. When we told him that we were told they had full hookups he said we consider water and electric full hookup. He then said they would pump our tank for $17. Or they had a dump station "but there's no way

I always start off by making my camping reservation by asking for full hook up? I was told yes and proceeded with making the reservation. However, once we arrived at the site, there was no sewer. I asked the gentlemen who parked us, why there was no sewage when I specifically asked when I made the reservation. He said he hears that comment a lot. He also stated the owners of the campground define full hook ups as water and electricity only.

You also have to pay for water at the shower house if you plan on showering.

Large sites and quiet.

I would not go back.

I stayed here over the past weekend. I was a tent camper with my boyfriend and our two small dogs. I was meeting a family member there to camp so we could spend some time together. The check in process was easy and the ladies up front were nice. The Staff was helpful all weekend. There were some loud campers a few rows down who were blasting loud music. My family has a small child but they were staying in a camper.

If you don't have kids this probably is not the place for you. There were kids EVERYWHERE. This is advertised as a family place so don't be shocked when a ton of kids are

I hate giving this place 2 star but it should get 1 star but I gave it two for a few reasons. The good things were few but here they are.. The staff was very nice and there was a lot to do for kid. They did serve food that was edible. The prices were good for the camp site. The bathrooms were kind of clean and the showers were ok the ones by the main office are the best. Ok now for the issues with camping here. They have a "fun zone" that was way over priced for what it was. The play ground areas were very old and the one spinning ride we would not let our daughter sit on it cause it

Driving cross country with my kids, and needed an affordable safe place to bed down for the night that could provide a hot shower in the morning. Siri directed me to this place...that is TWENTY MILES AWAY FROM THE INTERSTATE. Finally arrived, greeted by a 60-something man wearing a jacket that read "security guard." while puffing away on a cigarette while peering into my window he informed me the office closed at 10 p.m. and that I could not pay the camping fee in the morning when the office reopened. Shocked. Guard suggested that I drive "back to town" (15 miles back towards

Crappy Acres in more like it, I don't even know where to start with this place, maybe the kids that were sitting on the porch of the cabin we rented when we arrived that had written obscenities all over our picnic table with soap?
Or how about the fact that although the cabin is advertised to accommodate 5 people only two shower towels were provided, and when we asked for two more a production was made about a portion of our $50.00 cash deposit being taken if we did not return them. Or maybe my favorite, the fact that the water smells and tastes absolutely putrid, I actually had to find a

If you are a tent camper with a bag of quarters for the pay shower then this is the place for you.
If you are a Motor Home this is NOT the place for you; why, because there are no sites with full hookups. If you want to dump you have to disconnect and go to the dump site. The staff says there is a man who will come by and pump you for $17.50 and I did arrange for that, but he never showed. The sites have not been maintained and so you cannot level, also the 50 amps truely deliver less than 30. I poped the main breaker with one AC and the microwave.

We camped here for Labor Day weekend 2011. This was our first trip to this campground. I found it through a search for campgrounds in the southeastern Wisconsin area. There is SO MUCH for the kids to see and do here. We are tent campers, so it was very nice to find a campground that keeps the RV's and tenters separate from each other. However, they do allow tents on RV sites if you are part of a larger group.

The tent area is along a small swimming pond. Be aware that there really is no privacy here. People will walk through your campsite to get to the pond to fish. (We had a site located

We took a family camping trip over the labor day weekend (2010). The campground is quite large, with many activities for kids, both free and for a charge. They have couple of ponds there where you could fish (we didn't) and do paddle boats etc. I read somewhere on the internet that their ponds are bright green. Unfortunately, that is true. Still, there were many kids swimming in there. They had other activities such as science show, magic show, craft time etc. which our kids enjoyed. Bathroom facilities leave something to be desired. First two nights, we used the bathroom/shower facilities
