Services
The land that is now Rockchuck Ranch has a farmhouse dating from the late 1800s. Much of what is now the Farmhouse was added later, and the building was extensively remodeled in 2017, but the exterior is faithful to the original building style. Through the 1970s, the property was a working cattle ranch, with several outbuildings and a magnificent vegetable garden.
As a guest at the Twisp Terrace Lodge, you have your choice of 7 luxuriously appointed rooms. We are not a traditional lodge. We couple the warmth and intimate experience of a bed and breakfast with the privacy, exclusivity and professional service of a boutique luxury hotel.

Once used as an indulgent secret retreat for world leaders and celebrities, the Lodge was designed to satisfy the expectations of guests accustomed to the highest standards while embracing the charming illusion of simple rusticity on a 300 acre alpine ranch in the most beautiful valley in Washington State. That tradition continues today.
Originally designed as an indulgent secret retreat for world leaders and celebrities, the 21,000 square foot Lodge has many exciting spaces to explore. Adjacent to the Lobby is the Olde English Pub. The Pub structure, which dates to the 18th century, was imported in its entirety from England. Matching stools and tables invite you to complete your English Pub experience, or relax in an easy chair by the Pub fireplace.
The Lodge is surrounded by ten acres of manicured lawns and shade trees. These grounds are centrally located on the 300 acre ranch and offer gorgeous full-circle views. The grounds are completely private to guests and never crowded. To reach the Lodge and Lodge grounds, enter by the main gate and follow the paved driveway one-half mile to the Lodge parking area.
The beautiful Methow Valley, located in North Central Washington on the eastern slope of the North Cascades, is the Pacific Northwest's most popular destination recreation area. With more than 300 days of sunshine each year, you should expect blue skies and happy, friendly people whatever the season!

I have an upcoming trip planned to the area in July. I made my reservation months ago to stay at the Twisp Terrace Lodge. I just got an email that the hotel was canceling my booking because they've decided to no longer honor individual reservations and instead to only do whole lodge rentals. This was very disappointing as the options for booking nearby at this point are very limited and I will have a long drive now with what is still available. I was very disappointed in how this situation was handled.

Not reliable. They except reservations and after you rely on them, they just cancel them with an email.

My only true complaint was that we didn't have more time here. I was lucky to have stumbled upon this lodge while searching for options on Google, Expedia, and Travelocity. Unbeknownst to us this lodge had only been open 5 weeks before we arrived. It is absolutely beautiful. Eric and Beth are fantastic. Kind, responsive, talented. We arrived about 5pm Saturday night and enjoyed a fun happy hour with speciality cocktails but also made to order drinks. Followed by a delicious 5 course meal for a steal of a price $69 per person at 7pm. This experience lasted 2+ hours and was well worth it. Unfortunately
