This place was such a great place to stay. Right in the heart of downtown, can walk to everything. Our room had an amazing view of the river and the hot tub did too! I wish they accepted pets but even though they don’t we will for sure be back again. Perfect weekend away in a cute little town and hotel!

Hallways very stained and not clean. Room was clean but smelled musty. Did not feel very safe there as someone tried getting into the room at 11 a clock at night then to top everything off smoke detector went off at 1 a.m. Did not get a good night sleep. Was going to talk to management about it when we left but there was no one around. Was posted to leave key in room. Will not stay there again.

We came here for the postcard view and that's exactly what we got! Oh, boy, it was hard to leave this place.
Nothing fancy about the room, it's a simple space with a mini fridge, microwave and good size TV.
What makes this a 5 star place is the patio with it's breathtaking scenery. It's arguably one of the best views on the planet.
We visited over Christmas and woke up to a picturesque Hallmark card-like views every day. We were even gifted a white Christmas and got a snow flurry on the 25th. So perfect.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
We visited Winthrop over Christmas to go fat biking
