The following is a glossary of general auction terms and real estate auction terms developed by the National Association of Realtors " Real Estate Auction Committee", and the National Auctioneers Association.
AARE (Accredited Auctioneer, Real Estate): The professional designation awarded by the NAA Education Institute to qualified real estate auctioneers who meet the educational and experiential requirements of the Institute and who adhere to a strict code of ethics and standards of practice.Absentee Bid: A procedure which allows a bidder to participate in the bidding process without being physically present.

Benefit auctions are one of the fasting growing segments of the auction business. This course was designed to teach auctioneers the special planning techniques that create successful benefit auctions. Auctioneers offer a variety of services from specialties to very general auction services. Some are high service providers, and some are lower. Some have professional training, and some do not.

I am not impressed at all with this company’s attitude and the way they handled a sale.
BJ was very rude and curt over the phone. Especially when the auction stopped working which I know is beyond their control. However, as someone who has worked in customer service for over 10 years. If I would ever speak to them the way I was spoken too I wouldn’t be working. I get that they had an issue abs when I called back the next day it was like a completely different person who answered.
They were also very pushy when it came to picking up the items. It was very windy and I asked if I could have
