Run don't walk away from this auction house if you're looking to sell items. Our mother moved to a nursing home and sold a house full of items and received only $31! A friend's mother received only $60 for her items. He charged over $100 to pick the items up and dispose of the ones that were not sold. Charges huge 45% commission on items up to a certain value. Also charged $100 for identifying one piece of art as being valuable. He DID NOT appraise it, just said it was a valuable piece. We chose to go with a specialized art auction for that piece and some other items he didn't want, and he got
