I went for a hair color and hair cut. Haircut was okay but hair color was pretty bad. I wasn't given any thorough consultation with the color selection, color style and was rushed into it. My colorist sent three color shades while working on another client and I kind of shortlisted. But before I could talk to her with more choices, she already got that color. She put it as balayage suggesting that would be better for my thin hair, which I am fine with.

Great experience as usual at Simple Hair! I went back for a touch-up on my Japanese straightening, and all the ladies remembered me and were super welcoming. What I appreciate about Simple Hair is that they are very honest and won't try to sell you something that your hair can't endure; they make professional recommendations based on your thickness, wave pattern, and treatment history. This review is for Kimmy. I went in today for a womens haircut. This was my first time in Kimmy's chair but she reassured me right away that she can make my reference photo happen.
I have thick, Asian hair. The whole appointment took 1 hour total and it was thorough. I left the salon so happy! I've now found my go-to spot for haircuts.
I asked for a textured bob with face framing front bangs. The customer service from all of the staff was perfect.

Recommend Vy if you are getting a haircut from here! Since it was my first time here I wasn't particular on who would cut my hair. There was a mess up with the appointments but luckily Vy's appointment hot canceled and she was able to help me out. Her methods are unconventional yet effective! I got layers as usual but you can feel the difference when a good hairdresser cuts your hair and the style is still evident even after your hair has grown longer. Suggest getting an appointment well in advance as she is usually booked.

The best (and truly!) moderately priced salon for coloring, especially balayage. I haven't done full balayage service with them yet, just a color correction and touch-up a couple of years ago and consultations since then, but they are VERY honest about their prices, experts at what they can actually achieve after such careful consultation with you on not only what you want but after examination of the hair they are working with. I actually intended to do auburn balayage this last time I visited and Vy told me there was no need yet. She easily could have profited off of my naivete, but she

Let me tell you...this place is a gem and I am extremely pleased by the outcome of the hairdye session! I read so many comments mentioning Vy so I requested her for my hair dye. She is absolutely amazing! Not only did she gave good suggestions but also answered my millions of questions.
I got a haircut (clean up my old hair) and dyed my hair ash brown.
Do yourself a favor and get Vy to do your hair! You will be blown away by her.

My first time, I didn't know who to ask for and Kim was available, so I gave her a shot and I'm so glad I did. She was very attentive and my hair was a bit messed up from COVID since I cut it at home and she helped me fix it. It was a great haircut.
Since then, I've been coming back here every time I need a haircut. Without hesitation, I ask for Kim each time I return!

I've been going to Paul for more than 5 years. He's super patient and nice! I appreciate that he pays attention to detail and will do his best to meet the style that you want. I've always been nervous about getting my hair cut short, but I was happy with how it turned out! Great experience! I booked an appointment on Yelp in less than half an hour for my entire family. Their response time and customer service is fabulous. It was my first time here and they gave me the first appointment of the day on a Saturday - accommodating me last minute! They opened on the dot at 9:30 am and a bunch of people walked in and signed in with their names and phone numbers. It was beautiful how everyone was assigned a stylist on time - not a single complaint. My stylist was wonderful and she gave me some amazing tips. She also did an amazing job cutting my husband's hair right

After calling the salon about potential quotes for the hair color I wanted, I was directed to text the colorist with my current hair and my hair goal. The person over text was very honest and said that it would be $250 and up and would take 5+ hours. I booked an appointment and ended up going with the new quoted price that I got in the chair, which was $350 (for a partial balayage I believe).
The $100 jump did surprise me at first, but Vy explained that my hair is long and quite thick so I understood that the extra labor was worth the extra cost.

I needed a cut, and I needed it bad. I was so hesitant on getting it cut because I've had long hair for so long. I looked up this place & just decided to go for it. I requested an appt through the Yelp app & got a response in less than an hour! I love that.

Great experience! I badly needed a haircut after probably close to 3 years. I initially wanted it shorter, like slightly above the shoulder, but my stylist recommended I do a little longer probably so I didn't regret it. I think she was also worried I might get post-cut regret from cutting off so much hair but I was very ready to part from all my damage and split ends. I wish she took a little more time to ask me questions and confirm the style I wanted because I got the vibe that she had something she thought I would want and just kinda went for it. Can't express how much I loved their service! They were so fast, I was almost worried that it was *tooo* fast to be a good quality. I called in the morning and then they took me in later that day! They washed, cut, and blow dried my neglected mane in like 30 minutes total. It turned out SO GOOD OMG.

Just finished getting my hair straightened and cut by my girls Vy, Trang, and Bella and let me tell you these ladies know hair. For anyone who has ever considered chemically straightening their hair, you know how important it is to trust the people performing the treatment because the end result is either magic or totally awful and let me tell you these ladies are MAGIC. I love how they colored and straight my hair. This is my 3rd visit with them. 1st for the Japanese hair straight 2nd for a retouch straight after 6 months and I have to wait 2 weeks after my retouch to color my hair and they always do an exceptional job. I give it 4 stars because the chair clothes or the "capes" they cover you with smell like damp wet clothes. But I'll still come back for a retouch or hair color.

My first visit to this salon was mostly positive. The staff is friendly. The salon is bright and clean. My stylist was great and made sure I was happy with the progress as she cut my hair. The only issue was the wait. Even with an appointment, I still waited 30 minutes. Not surprising though, since everyone in town was due for a haircut. This is definitely my new salon of choice. I will be back.

This is the best place you can go to get honest feedback on what is possible or not for your hair. I’ve been wanting to go light bur they were very honest on what bleach would do to my 2C hair so instead of doing it all in one shot, we did it gradually. And they also convinced me that I did not want to do all over color, going towards a more natural blend of colors instead. Absolutely love this place and what their work entails!
