Dr. Burdge has a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a background in individual and group therapy for children, teens, and adults. Dr. Burdge grew up in the Panama Canal Zone and has worked with individuals from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

I am so thankful for the entire staff at Alterity. I currently see Dr. Burdge and am so happy with my treatment. I appreciate that he is straightforward while still being compassionate and empathetic. His goal is to help me not enable me to be the best that I can be. When it comes to counseling it’s very personal and often times we take things so personal and I appreciate that he holds me to a standard which allows me to really work on myself and my relationships. 7/16/20 - I dropped mom off for my her first appointment. She filled out all of their required paperwork including a release of information form so that I could be a part of her care team. Only because I had mentioned that I was her care provider (I've told all of her doctors), the office manager requested some documentation stating that fact. I told her that I was not going to provide any proof as I failed to see how providing it would benefit mom's care, and mom had already filed out their release of information form.

Every time someone asks me for a recommended therapist that is good, well there is no question that Alterity comes to my mouth first, and the name Aaron Burge comes out second. Family oriented. powerful message behind his theory and I can say from experience it is proven. He tells you things how they are regardless of whom is sitting in his office and he doesn't take sides. he defends the family structure and core principles of Faith, happiness, and virtue. I am a patient of Dr Aaron Burdge, although his new office is not open yet, it will be very soon. I saw him for 6 months, it only took a several weeks for friends and associates actually asked "are still seeing your doctor". No but as soon as he opens his new clinic I be waiting at the door. He help me bring quality, serenity, calmness back into my life. I can't wait to start and continue my ever growing process. Mary P
