We have been a family owned and operated business since 1955. The company was started in 1955 in the basement of Robert Wood's home as the R.F.Wood Door Co. Bob took a partner a couple years later and became Wood & Woods, Inc. Several years later when his partner, Lawrence Woods retired, Bob was not ready to retire and became Wood & Wood, Inc. Bob's daughter and son-in-law came into the business in 1995.
After Bob's passing in 2006,, Sue and Hank took over the business and became Wood & Wood Garage Doors, Inc. The changes have been made but we are still the same family owned and run business, second generation. We have come full circle and have returned to Bob's original name of R.F. Wood Door Co. Sue and Hank are the beneficiary of a company that, over the years, has developed a well-known reputation for taking care of their customers.
