Nestled in the heart of Vermont's Champlain Valley, at the foot of the Green Mountains, Lake Dunmore Kampersville is one of New England's truly outstanding campgrounds and RV parks, Vermont camping at its best! Sparkling clean Lake Dunmore serves as the focal point of Kamperville's exciting Vermont camping.

Whether your fishing, boating, hiking or just relaxing, Lake Dunmore is the perfect place to vacation in Vermont. Our campground includes a rec hall with games, outdoor playground, baseball field, and beach/boat dock. The surrounding area offers boating, fishing and hiking.
Services
Situated on a cove in the northern end of Lake Dunmore lies our private beach! Being at the edge of our campground, it is a very short walking distance from the camping sites, as well as the Kampersville Deli. The beach has a boat dock, playground, boat rentals and spectacular views of Mt Moosalamoo above Lake Dunmore.
Just a short walk from the campground, our sandy beach is your gateway to boating on Lake Dunmore. Whether you're out for the day fishing, water skiing, or paddle boating the coves and bays, Lake Dunmore is a hotspot for any kind of boating. With the Green Mountains rolling above, Lake Dunmore is one of the more scenic lakes in Vermont, and certainly a great location for cooling down mid summer.
Lake Dunmore is home to a wide variety of fish, and easily accessed from our campground. All types of fishing are available, including live bait, lure, fly fishing and ice fishing in the winter time. Hiking to the nearby Silver Lake provides both shore line and small non-motorized boat opportunities to catch fish in a mountain lake.
Vermont is know for some of the best hiking in New England - the Green Mountains providing a network of trails with views of rivers, waterfalls, wildlife and a rolling Vermont landscape. Several trail-heads exist within walking distance from Kampersville, as well as many others just a short drive away.
Our campground is located in the forest surrounding Lake Dunmore in central Vermont, which is a 10 minute drive from the town of Middlebury. Lake Dunmore provides access to fishing and boating, while the campground offers a deli, general store and activities/pools at the Rec Hall. Camping options include weekend vacations and short term visits, as well as "seasonal" campers, who wish to stay for a majority of the summer.

They have all the things you hope to find in a campground store and more. Clearly a local gathering spot for soft ball and horse shoes. Staff is awesome despite juggling so many balls in the air from checking in campers renting shuffle board, horse shoes etc., slicing deli meat selling fishing licenses, ice, gas, wood you name it and they keep a smile on their faces. Awesome job by all.

The people are always nice and there is a big tuxedo cat that is very sweet! Everytime we go there they always have what I need!

Basic camp necessities...some old fashioned candy. Over priced and looks a little out dated. Can be hard to park if its a busy check in time, or when a softball game is going on.

It's your typical country store and they have so much patience for dealing with the softball teams on Sundays. Plus, they have a lot more selections of items than I would've expected

Love this place. Of course over priced being it's the closest to the campsites. But, definitely worth stopping at not going to break the bank.

A little pricey but a lot to choose from and they have amazing staff. It's conveniently located at the camp grounds so unless you want to travel it's the only store for miles.
