Dumping station is unavailable unless you are a seasonal. Person signing us in was rude.

Huge sites !!! but don't be late ! closes office at 7 p.m. and we were 40 minutes late due to a new truck and realizing the receiver of the hitch was bigger and I had to run to uhaul to buy a new piece for it.… the owner couldn't care less with our explanation and charged us a 20.00 late fee ! absolutely ridiculous! he said it was on our paperwork. we didn't have paperwork as we reserved online. and it doesn't mention anything about it online ! other than that I would give it 5 stars. oh and no cable hookup.

I found River Bend on a bicycle trip. Not only did they offer some excellent riverfront views, but have a great facility. The owners, were kind enough to even share a meal with me as I was passing through. Great people, great place. I plan to visit again.

I've never met more confrontational and rude people running a campground. We hosted a family party here and it was almost ruined by the hostility of the owners. They constantly pestered us, making many people upset and uncomfortable. According to campground rules, visitors can't drive to any campsites. This included physically disabled people, the elderly, and people bringing heavy coolers and grills. The owner Cliff controls the campground for the sole purpose of feeling in control and it is frustrating, demeaning, and takes the fun out of any camping trip or party.

Love Rivers Bend!!! The river is literally enough to make it amazing, but the staff and owner are all super attentive and friendly.👌🏼 sites are also decently sized as well.

Great place with the use of the river and other amenities plus so close to Middlebury, VT. We went to a great concert in the Marble Works. Nice and quite so relaxing.

Lots of walking trails, plenty of space-each site has lots of space. very clean and quiet. caring staff who enforce safe speed in the campground. much appreciated for us with small kids!!!

We went camping in June and had the BEST time! We lucked out with pop up site #2 (we’re totally biased but it’s the best site on the lot- offers shade and sun)! The staff was super friendly - the little store is so cute, and the bathrooms were always super clean! We can’t wait to go again next year!

My mind is blown. So months ago I planned a vacation for me and my fam to go camping at Rivers Bend Campground! I contacted them before our stay to ask them for the most secluded spot and away from the road/river because both my kiddos love to run. Especially into the road, and I also knew that this trip might be rough on them. 7 days in a tent,… with a family that thrives on routine. I told them we will probably cry be, loud and messy! I told them my son has Autism so he can be really loud when his routine is messed with. They were very helpful. I watched the weather for months before this

We rented the camper and it was very comfortable. My son loved it. We had a great time tubing in the river. While tubing we saw a bald eagle soar down the river into a huge pine tree, it was so beautiful. My only complaint would be the price of the camper. A $140 per night is a little expensive, but I guess that's the price you pay for glamping.

Don’t judge with old reviews. This place is under new management.
We loved the place, if you are looking for silence, in the nature, birds and river sounds, this place is for you.
Peaceful, relaxing place. You can swim in the river, walk in the river, kayaking or tubing, hiking. Nice place to read.
Has wifi internet, I did nice quality zoom meeting.
Water and electricity were next to my tent.
Restroom and bath were nice.
Small market does the trick, and you are not too far from small town to do your shopping or dining if you like.

Absolutely beautiful place, tucked into the woods, large grass sites and ours was directly on the riverbank. Our site was dead level (left to right). We went swimming in the beautiful river. Would definitely come back here again.
4-star due to: no online reservation system. only one use of dump station. Coin operated showers. Only one device on WiFi. It would be easier to manage and happier customers by simply raising the overnight cost by $1-3 across the board and including all those one-offs.

Wonderful campground. very friendly hosts. peaceful camping next to the river. large campsites. perfect.

Clean secluded little campground. Bathrooms were very clean, coin operated showers, had soap at the sinks and a hand dryer. Electrical outlets and water at each site. There's a long dirt driveway to get to the site which makes it feel secluded. Restaurants are within 5 miles which was great for our motorcycle trip. New Owner was awesome, let us pick out whatever site we wanted and delivered firewood to us. Very nice and down to earth. Had a fire late into the night and no one gave us any grief, everyone at the campground seemed pretty chill. Sites are a little close together, might not stay there

This camp site was such a beautiful experience. Cliff & Jess were so accommodating for us. I wanted to move to another site that was closer to the amazing Otter Creek and they were just so helpful. The whole site is extremely clean and well kept. The views are astonishing, every site very level, and the amenities well maintained. I strongly recommend this site to anyone!
I cannot thank Jess & Cliff enough for making this such a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We will be back next year!!!!
