At the Dance Attic we value every student-young and old, beginners and advanced students alike. It is our aim to offer a quality dance education to all of our students. We believe that a good foundation in ballet and jazz technique is essential to all other styles of dance. Therefore all of our dancers are required to take these classes.
Performance is also an integral part of a good dance education. We provide performance opportunities throughout the year in class, in the community, at competitions, and a year-end recital. It is our goal to provide a nurturing and positive environment for every dancer to learn to dance, build self-esteem, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

We are so excited to announce The Dance Attic Master Class Series schedule for 2021! All TDA Dancers are urged to take advantage of these guest artists coming in and teaching different styles. It is such a great opportunity for dancers to be taught by different artists and be pushed to go outside of their comfort zone.
At the Dance Attic we have many opportunities to perform and compete and we have won numerous awards. Our company participates in at least 5 competitions per year. Our recreational dancers also get the opportunity to compete in one competition each year. We feel that this is a great opportunity for all of our dancers to experience the competition world and have the chance to perform!
Ballet/Jazz: an hour long class that is designed to continue the basics of ballet as well as introduce jazz technique to the second year dancer. Combo ballet/tap/jazz: a 1 1/2 or 2 hour class designed to introduce the young dancer to several styles of dance while building a good foundation of basics for future dance education.
The Dance Attic brings in guests artists to provide opportunities for our dancers to be exposed to the art of dance from different perspectives. The list below is a sampling of some of the excellent talent that has visited our studio in the past. Austin and Marideth, better known as "Cost n' Mayor" are an NYC / LA based professional dance duo who erupted on social media for their original choreography.

My oldest moved to this studio after years at another studio and was much older. She came in not knowing many people and was welcome with open arms. She has grown in all aspects of her dancing abilities. Even though it was difficult to leave our old studio we made the right choice by come to The Dance Attic because my daughter loves it here.

My family has been a part of The Dance Attic family since 2004. I have three children who dance here (ages 7, 10, and 17) and it's like a second home to them. They offer technique classes in ballet, point, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and acro. My children love the staff and the environment. They are welcomed with warm smiles and skilled staff each day in class. Each of my children have received high honors at competition. My oldest daughter has been well prepared to pursue her career as a dance major in college. My children have gained so much since being a part of this studio...self confidence

My daughter(Gracie) has been dancing with Wanda(and her Dance Team) since she was about 4 years old. Her passion is dance and my wife and I would nor have we ever considered any other dance studio other than The Dance Attic. The dancers are all cordial and the more seasoned dancers step up to the plate to help the younger dancers via hands on attention and encouragement. And I am proud to see Gracie grow into a beautiful dancer. If you are looking for a fantastic dance studio, then Pam and I both would recommend The Dance Attic without hesitation.

I have been involved with The Dance Attic for over 8 years. The studio not only provides excellent instruction, they also help children blossom into mature confident young adults. Last year I watched my "wall flower" perform her senior solo and cried to see how such a quiet child could perfom with such strength and confidence. Luckily I have another child that is growing with The Dance Attic so I can't wait to she her transformation! Thank you Miss Wanda, Miss Cory, Miss Rachel, Miss Charliegh and all the staff of The Dance Attic. Now my family has been involved for 12 years and my youngest child

The Dance Attic has exceeded any expectation I may have had. Excellent teachers and owner. Good attitude, sportsmanship and quality. My daughter has been there for about 5 years and she has benefited immensely in her dance skills and also life skills. My mother who has been to many, many dance recitals over the years said this was the best one she's ever seen. This is place is a class act - no doubt about it.
