Conventional loans are any mortgage that is not guaranteed or insured by the federal government. Although a conventional loan is not insured or guaranteed by the government, it still follows the guidelines of government sponsored enterprises, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Conventional loans may be "conforming" and "non-conforming".

I just completed a re-fi with David, and it was a great experience from start to finish. I had started the process with another company, and their internal process drug out for over 60 days. As my frustration with the other company mounted, I remembered that David handled mortgages and I called him. The whole process with David took 2 weeks. I've already recommended him to multiple people IRL, and now I'm recommending him online. Save yourself the hassle that I had with the competition. Just go with David from the beginning.

Do yourself a favor and work David! My wife and I spoke with 10+ mortgage brokers and/or loan officers until we found David. He was far and away the most responsive, resourceful, driven, and friendly person we worked with.
