Adults over 35 lose more teeth to gum diseases (periodontal disease) than from cavities. Three out of four adults are affected at some time in their life. The best way to prevent cavities and periodontal disease is by good tooth brushing and flossing techniques, performed daily. Periodontal disease and decay are both caused by bacterial plaque.

I was very disappointed with our visit. For starter, the lobby isn’t very kid-friendly. I’m assuming because of COVID all the little tables and chairs I’ve heard about were removed. I wasn’t a fan of the Grinch (Jim Carrey version) playing as this facility services children of all ages. Although, I absolutely love that movie myself, I found it inappropriate for my toddler. I would have preferred the clinic erred on the side of caution with one of the cartoon version. Aside from the waiting room, the room my son was taken to wasn’t kid-friendly either. The chair was huge for a toddler

Extremely unprofessional and rude dentist today 10/13/21. If you don't know how to work around children, you should absolutely not. Had my daughter shaking because of his behavior during the review of her teeth & gums. Children, especially girls are delicate and require special treatment when they are nervous...instead she received whatever that nonsense was. Not again, we will go somewhere else. Tried to tack on some $240.00 treatment for her gums, that nobody has ever mentioned before. You ought to be ashamed of your behavior today.

The staff in general is nice. The dentist guy himself is a bit rude in telling me about how bad my teeth are as if I can rewind time and solve everything. After my first visit they were supposed to send in my pre auth approval to insurance but still had not by the next appointment so I am waiting longer just to get a cracked tooth pulled but overall it's fine I don't terribly blame them for anything. I'm still going back so it's not that bad.

They price gouge telling people the most expensive treatment. They refused me service even with valid insurance they are in network with because it didn’t show in their system, they refused to allow the insurance to send them a hard copy verification. They refused to clean my daughters teeth due to mild gingivitis saying she needed a “special” cleaning. I was a dental assistant 12 yrs to dentist that teach dentistry for a living very prestigious dental college… u do not need a special cleaning for gingivitis. Also no fluoride treatment for the kids they did clean. The doctor was a bit rude

Such a great place for kids! My kids have been coming to A Smile 4U for a few years now, and we love it! Lucy is always super friendly and helpful, along with the other front desk staff. Their assistants and hygienist are excellent! Highly recommend them! Thank you, A Smile 4U, for consistently exceeding in the care my children require. We love y'all!

I’ve never taken the time to write a bad review for any doctor or dentist. We gave this group multiple chances & it never was a good experience. Cancelled appointments, scheduling issues, dirty lobby, we never saw the same pediatric dentist twice & the latest issue was my child had cavities that needed “immediate attention”. They couldn’t fill them there & we were referred out. (What?) Well thank goodness because our second opinion was they have no idea how they could have seen that & he was fine. We will never be back.

My kids have been coming here since they both were 1 years old. They are 3 and 4yrs now. I really enjoy them taking the time and being so considerate and kind to my kids. The last visit was a week ago and we were in and out in no time. I like visits like these. The parking lot was not packed and the wait was no long at all. I loved the fast service. The kids didn’t have any cavities and they enjoyed the tooth brushed they received with the service.

This was a horrible experience. I will say that the front desk was very friendly and the lady who took me back to the room and was going to assist the dentist was very friendly and helpful. That was the extent of my experience being good. I was there to have a tooth extracted that is infected and there is a large abscess above the tooth. I was already in pain and very nervous about having this tooth pulled. The dentist came in and was very rushed and rough with jabbing a needle in my mouth especially around the abscess. He hurt me so bad I was crying and he got irritated because apparently I wasn

The folks here at a Smile 4U Hiram are ready sweet. I've taken my husband here for the first time and we had a wonderful experience! He ended up needing some work done, and they did it same day! They did let us know since it was the afternoon there was a chance that we might not be able to do much same day. The staff really helped out a lot and explained what was needed. We both enjoyed our experience! Thank you A Smile 4 U for helping my husband feel better!

Worst dentist I've ever taken my child to. They don't allow parents to go back but then don't update the parents as to what is going on. They have the children (my child is 10) schedule them appointments themselves. I was told this shouldn't happen and won't again. Come next time, it happened again. The girl at the desk said this is procedure and that we can call to reschedule if need be. Well, that would require them to answer the phones! They schedule to put my child's bottom braces on but when we got there, they said our appointment was scheduled too late in the

Yes they take our insurance... they ask a cleaning fee everytime you come in. Its mandatory anyway during covid and everytime ive been in i believe 4 visits now its never clean; there was a used bandaid, kids toys and jewelry laying on the floor, dust and hair balls all over the offices, the restrooms were filthy plus tp bits all over the bathroom, the wait times are crazy which is understandable for covid. As a parent you cannot accompany your child and ive changed dentists twice now the first one my childs face was swollen and infected for 2 weeks this one tues she was swollen and seemed to run

This is one of the worst dentistry services that I've ever experienced. I called a week earlier to make a new patient appointment. They took my insurance information and everything. When I got to my appointment, they stated that my insurance still needed to be verified and I should wait. 20 minutes passed by and I didn't hear nothing from them until I had to go up there and ask if there's any paperwork that needed to be filled out. It took me to go up there for them to give me 5 pages of paperwork to fill out. They need to learn to stop wasting people's times and overbooking

First of all, they would not accept previous dentist's records. Had they accepted previous records, they would have seen teeth had been recently filled. They do a terrible job at verifying insurance. I'm not sure they even check. I leave my appt and they tell me nothing is owed but every time I come back for more dental work, I have a balance because they filled teeth that have been filled less than a year ago so insurance would not cover. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My wife took my 4 year old daughter to have her first dental appointment. The staff told my wife she was not allowed back in a private room with our daughter due to HIPAA laws. Since when do HIPAA laws prevent the parent being there for a pediatrician appointment, an ER visit, or anything else of that kind? Yet the apply to a dental visit? This is the worst dental place I have ever dealt with and would not recommend it to anyone for any reason. Go else where.
