Frantic Frets specializes in gently used fretted instruments, amplifiers and accessories. Al and Mary Frantic had a vision; one day they would leave New Jersey, and live near the beach, then they discovered Delaware. Then they found Milton, and the rest, is history. Al Frantic is a self taught musician who is ready to share his decades of experience with you. From showing you how to properly change your strings, how to play a D-chord, or wail on a whammy bar, Al Frantic can help you learn all the basics guitar and bass.
Looking to buy, sell or trade electric, acoustic or bass guitars? You've come to the right place. Need a repair, or a setup on that guitar? Yes, we can do that, too! Amplifiers, accessories, strings, picks? We got 'em. Ukeleles, banjos, mandolins? That's right, a music shop right here in Milton! In addition to buying and trading, we also offer consignment services. We will discuss your options, whether to sell in the shop or through an online service. Our fees are 30% if we sell it in the shop or our online store. If we sell it online through a third party, there will be an additional 5% fee added.
Any time day or night, you can shop until you drop at Frantic Frets. Shop from the comfort of your own home through our secure online store. Al and Mary are truly wonderful folks. Not only does their shop have cool stuff but they are both a delight. They have some neat antiques and if you are a musician, this will be your new spot. Not only does Frantic Frets have a fantastic selection of quality instruments but Al is wonderful at servicing both guitars and amps.

This place is awesome. They have a great taste in instrunments, there's some beautiful guitars in there. They have lots of cool interesting stuff like acoustic basses, banjos, violin, upright bass, etc. The owners are very friendly and prices are very fair. Good selection of records too. Would definitely recommend any musicians or antique collectors check them out
