Choices Women's Medical Center moved to its present location in Queens NY in 2012. We had learned there was a great need in Queens for high-quality medical services that enabled women and teens to have healthy pregnancies and births, as well as assistance in planning the families they wanted to have.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this “facility”. I had to get an abortion. They rushed me thru like I was just another human coming thru. No real “bedside manor”. I opted to take the pill abortion way. I had HORRIBLE side effects when they told me there would be none until I took the next 3. I ended up in the ER due to extreme vomiting and nausea. I decided to book a d and c with them because I couldn’t continue the pills. About less than a week later I started hemmoraging. Keep in mind I had not taken the second dose of pills yet. Everyone is complaining about the wait but when you book an appointment especially, they tell you how many hours you have to wait for whatever you’re there for. If you don’t have time to be patient then don’t come here. Trust me I understand but don’t review this place with one star because of wait time..that messes up the REAL review of the service that you get from some amazing doctors they have here or nurses and the procedures they do. Yes it’s a long wait time but I appreciate them!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My appointment was @12pm. I arrived @11:30am. The signs on the door are misleading. The main entrance sign says go to the side entrance, and the side entrance sign says it isn’t open. However, the side entrance was open all along. When you first walk in it’s the check in area which is very small. There is no 6ft spacing at all. I felt so claustrophobic. After standing for 20-25 mins to check-in I was exhausted. Most awful, traumatizing experience I have ever went through. They overbooked patients waited 9 hours with no water no food almost about to pass out. Rude and unprofessional care givers, disorganized. They do not care for your well being AT ALL. Do not even think about going to this place! Please I think I need therapy after experiencing this horrific facility. The only nice human being there was the security guy at the front. And I most definitely will be contacting the department of health in regards to my concerns. And if they are understaffed why overbook so many patients all at once.

I was seen shortly after my appointment time , my doctor was young and nice and she listened to all my concerns following a miscarriage. The sonogram was short and easy and I felt very comfortable explaining my gyn needs. I will be scheduling my annual exam with them in a few months ! I was very happy with there safety regarding covid and the precautions they took to keep people from being ontop of each other.

I never waited long periods of time while inside to be seen. Place is very clean and the ladies behind the glass are extremely nice and they answer all questions and concerns respectfully.
The only problem I had was waiting outside in the freezing cold and rain when I had a scheduled appointment. Also, I was told that couldn’t fill out my maternity leave papers for my job because I haven’t been seen since 10/21 but regardless they should still fill my form out because I was seen there for care. And they was sending me to TJH for appointments every two weeks and then every week.

Other than wait times this place is incredible! The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. They care! The office is clean and I honestly love the number system they use to protect the privacy of their patrons. I honestly even consider making this place my primary care for Ob-gyn. I been coming here for the last two years. My only complaint are the wait times. So best advice make an appointment and get they before 9a.m.

This facility is THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! My appoinment was scheduled for 9AM. I arrived at 8:10AM and was prompted to wait outdoors in the freezing cold(32°F) until I could check in (I waited 45 minutes outside). Once I checked in, I waited a total of 5 hours to see a doctor.
In addition, the staff are HORRIBLE. They're attitude and approcach to patients concern lacked empathy and understanding!!!!!
During a pandemic the wait shouldn't be as extensive and the environment was crowded.
I will be sure to contact the health of department regarding my concerns.

This is a great place to handle all woman care and needs. However you better be ready to spend at least 3 to 6 hours here for any service. This is no doubt an all day affair. I'm here for only a check up and my appointment was at 11 it is now 315 and I have not been seen yet. I know for next time to plan a doctor appointment for the full entire day instead of having work I'm the evening at 5. I see no end in sight.

Best women's clinic in NYC. Ive been a patient since they were in Long Island City. Friendly staff & they have every so many birth control options. They are so much more than an abortion clinic. Im going in this week to replace my BC implant. You never have to wait long for an available appointment. That made me ditch my old GYN doctor. Who wants to wait weeks when you can schedule something for tomorrow? :)

I appreciate this place very much. The wait times are extremely long and you will probably be there half of the day but I am so great to have a place with these services, even if I never need them. I have had a good experience so far with the gyn and I appreciate that even with covid and protesters, this place remains open. Freedom of choice is invaluable.
