At Movement Arts Physical Therapy we combine our expertise in physical and manual therapy with innovative healing techniques. We specialize in treating complex injury and pain issues through integrative manual therapy, functional rehabilitation and exercise. Assessment and treatment of the body as a network of interconnected systems enhances the client's innate ability to heal and results in lasting wellness and restored function.

Typical treatment sessions range from 45-55 minutes with the entirety of the appointment spent with the therapist. Please contact us by email for more information and to make an appointment for an evaluation.
Services
Lauren has been specializing in orthopedic manual therapy since 1996. She has expertise in Vestibular Rehabilitation for vertigo and balance disorders and has been Pilates trained since 2003. Lauren uses her knowledge of orthopedics, neurology and osteopathic techniques to treat a wide variety of complicated disorders and is a specialist in breast cancer rehabilitation.
Physical Therapy at the Movement Arts Center integrates traditional and complimentary manual physical therapy techniques, often used in combination, to achieve healing. Our breast cancer program was developed specifically to enhance recovery from cancer treatment.

The program will help stretch and strengthen the shoulder, chest, back and abdominal muscles, allowing women to regain full range of motion to areas affected by breast cancer surgery and/or treatment. This program is suitable whether your surgery was recent or years ago. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle manual therapy method of evaluating and improving the function of a physiologic system called the craniosacral system.
We have started taking a series of classes developed by Bruno Chickly DO, MD that explores the structures of the brain and spinal cord. According to Dr. Chickly, the body often aligns itself around these precise structures and they are often the dominant but unaddressed driving force following illness, trauma, surgery and injury.
