Tom's Cove Campground

Great little campground 5 mins from assateague national wildlife refuge and the beach. RV hook ups and tent sites available, with optional waterfront sites. Bath houses and laundry available on site as well. 3 fishing piers a marina and a swimming pool available for use as well.

We just stay here over the weekend. Place is open till end of November. It's was like a ghost town nothing going on and they close up everything that was for the kids and took all fire rings away so you couldn't burn firewood. We had to go to the koa for the kids to have fun with people we knew that was staying there. Was very disappointed with this place. We going to koa next time.

This was our first time here at this campsite, we normally camp in the mountains near the Poconos so this was a different experience. The sites are pretty tight but everyone here is so nice everyone tries to assist you in any which way they can. I don’t have anything negative to say about the campsite. The bathrooms are always clean. The pool needs a little help, as well as the dusty roads.

Great for families with children and social people. The campsites are right next to each other, so there is not much privacy. There is a swimming pool, clubhouse with an arcade, and even a weekly church service. With its decently sized pier, Toms is definitely a campground for fishers, boaters, and sunrise watchers. If you’re in town for the pony swim, the pier would be a perfect viewing point (so I’ve been told). Toms is also conveniently close to the entrance of the National Seashore on Assateague Island. Be aware that at certain times of year the mosquitoes are abundant.

Definitely different then camping before, but there's electric and water. The bathrooms are kept clean, everyone around here is friendly and nice. I arrived late because of traffic and I was still able to get a site.

Tom's Cove has been a family destination for us for 37 years. Now our children and their friends have their own campers and still camp at Tom's Cove. We've always felt safe here and never worried about theft, rowdy neighbors, etc. There have been many upgrades over the years but the charm and friendly atmosphere has never wavered and that keeps us coming back.

My kids and grandkids are staying here for vacation. Twelve year old boys are having a good time on their bikes with the other kids and there are a lot of them! Clean and we'll kept. A bit crowded but fun for kids. On the water.

Campground nice. It's sad though, no control over site you stay in. I make it down there often always a gamble. Last 2 times we lost. But they know they have you once there so you have to make the best of it. I will be back in 2 weeks, if I had another option by the water on the island..I am all ears.....

Tom's Cove Park is an awesome place for family vacation. There's so much to do!! From chillin on the beach to, the Water park, Miniature golf and Much more! The food there is also fantastic.
Friendly, kind peace everywhere!!! Although I only got to see the wild horses for a brief moment, it was a beautiful sight. I truly intend on taking Many more vacations in this truly special part of the East coast soon!! Relax and enjoy, that's what it's all about.
