New Tampa Medical was established in 2000 and has been serving the Tampa community as a full general internal medicine practice.
Our Founder and Medical Director, Dr. Babatola Durojaiye, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides a personal level of comprehensive health care with an emphasis on prevention services including the early detection and treatment of medical disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.We are experts in the initial evaluation of symptoms and health concerns.

At New Tampa Medical Center, we focus on all aspects of our patients' health by providing primary care services to patients 18 years of age and older. We emphasize patient education and provide preventive measures to create a healthy routine and address the medical needs of our patients. Our goal is to build long-term relationships, resulting in sustained health.
At New Tampa Medical Center, we continue the care of our patients in the Long-Term Care setting and our providers are on staff in several Skilled Nursing Facilities and Nursing Homes in the Tampa Bay Area. Our team understands that some patients might require skilled care or rehabilitation and therapy before returning home.
We believe that as primary care providers, we are in the best position to care for our patients when they need hospital care. In addition to being that familiar face, we know your medical history, needs, and any social circumstances that may be important to the improvement of your health.

I have worked with this doctor at AdventHealth and additional locations. It’s really rare to find a Doctor who really cares about you. Dr Duroyaiye is super intelligent on top of things and really cares about the patients under his care. I am a hospital administrator and now he is my personal primary care physician. If all doctors were like Dr Duroyaiye everyone
would want to become an RN.

Office staff rude& no knowledge of services. LaTasha? $200+med $$+ $75 EACH VISIT. Kept repeating & seemed to b getting coached by someone in the background. Vague answers about cost. This is the 2md time ive called... once about 2 yrs ago and SAME THING. I actually had put notes in my phone about the terrible rudeness!!!

I have been seen by Dr. Durojaiye and his staff since 2003. I have never been disappointed with the service, reception, atmosphere! I've experienced many physicians in my medical history but I must say, this Dr hasn't failed me yet in 16 years. I'm proud to say that this is my Primary Dr. Thank God for Dr Durojaiye and his great staff 💜

The office staff is extremely rude and unpleasant to work with. My father was under the care of Dr. Durojaiye prior to him being turned over to hospice. When that decision to made, I advised Dr. Durojaiye I was going to take a leave from work. He said he’d look out for my request and sign my paperwork as soon as he received it. My FMLA paperwork was submitted to his office 3 times prior to it finally getting signed. Each time a different excuse why the paperwork wasn’t signed was given. There was no sense of urgency even after me calling the office multiple times and speaking with the staff
