Jazz-Tappin Dance Academy

Jazz Tappin Dance Academy is going into our 22nd year in Sanford, and continues to offer the latest in dance education. JTDA strives to offer fun, exciting dance classes that allow students abilities and self confidence soar to new heights!

Students from JTDA have had the opportunity to perform not only at events locally, but also at such events like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, at Disney World, and also at regional and national competitions.Dancers from JTDA have attended numerous competitions and received silver, gold and platinum awards, judges awards for the most entertaining routine, choreography awards and also high score awards.

Above all else, we commit to being a welcoming, nurturing space for dancers of all ages, abilities and levels. A healthy development of positive self-esteem, confidence and social interaction shows that we value your child's growth- not only as a dance student, but in all areas of development. We feature two DIFFERENT showcases, Show One is for the younger dancers, and Show Two features our older dancers.

Dancers are introduced to proper technique and terminology in a fun and creative atmosphere. Students will explore music and movement and learn the beginning basics of dance. This class will improve fitness, self-discipline, rhythm, and memory. In this class dancers are introduced to proper technique and terminology in a fun and creative atmosphere.

There is a one time registration fee of $15.00 ($10 for each additional sibling) due at time of registration. For your convenience we will be having all of our students sign up for auto-pay which will automatically run your tuition payment at the 1st of each month, October thru May. 1. Tuition is due by the 1st of the month and needs to be received by the 10th of the month in order to receive the tuition rate.
