Here at the Alton Dance Academy, I wish to allow your child to explore dance, exercise, and learn specific techniques, in a non- competitive environment. All of our teachers and staff have extensive dance training and/or collegiate degrees in the performance arts.

Services
Welcome to the Alton Dance Academy- where dance and education meet in a fun, non-competitive environment. A 45-minute-long creative dance class for young dancers, introducing basic dance movement through music and rhythm, the use of scarves, hoops, balls, tambourines, and more. Dancers will begin to learn and understand basic ballet terminology.

The Alton Dance Academy is proud to announce its affiliation with Revolution Dancewear in order to keep our prices low! We also sell Danskin leotards and other dance merchandise. The Academy will be bringing in many new items in the store, so please stop in and browse while you wait for dance classes to begin or end!

The staff/teachers at Alton Dance Academy are so caring and so fun! Miss Ashley & Miss Kim have been so so so good to my daughters! Everyone there is always so helpful and they really care about the kids. Their classes have really helped to boost my daughters self confidence from their first shy step into dance class to their first big dance recital. My girls look forward to every class and the big recital each year and I have peace of mind knowing that my daughters are in a safe, caring and fun dance/teaching environment.
