We now take pride in continuing to manage Laurel Grove as one of its premier properties in New Jersey. The original 145-acre property was expanded in the 1920s, when the family acquired the 55-acre adjacent dairy farm to develop a memorial park. The Paterson Elks Monument, which can be seen from Interstate 80, was dedicated in May of 1897, and serves as a well-known local landmark.
Also found in the cemetery are the Syrian High Priest statue and the Federici Fountain and Statue, also known as "The Spirit of the Resurrection." A World Trade Center Monument, donated by the cemetery and Sgobba's Monument Works, was dedicated in memory of the 9/11 victims. There is also a bronze plaque memorializing fallen police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel that was donated by the employees and officers here.

Services
At Laurel Grove Cemetery, we have built our reputation one family at a time. We value your trust, so we pledge to provide you with the peace of mind that comes from working with representatives who understand the challenges of end-of-life planning. We assist you with care and compassion in making these decisions, whether you are planning for the future or need to make immediate arrangements.
We at the Islamic Center of Passaic County are committed to ensuring the safest and most aesthetic environment in respect to our deceased Muslim brothers and sisters at Laurel Grove Cemetery. Therefore, we will be taking a diligent approach to address some of the current conditions and working with the cemetery to make reformations in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by Laurel Grove.
The loss of a loved one is never easy. With the combined experience of several hundred years of cemetery service in the profession, we know firsthand how difficult making cemetery arrangements can be. Undeniably, discussing cemetery and funeral arrangements in advance, and advising family members of your wishes, lessens the burden of questions and making decisions at the time of immediate need.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
We encourage you to get in touch with a cemetery in addition to a funeral home or a mortuary. We can help you arrange and plan for all the details following a funeral service. Pre-planning and pre-payment will protect you from the rising cost of prices, and it will not be a financial burden on your loved ones.

Nice maintained cemetery with some unique areas and headstones with gates open from 8am to 5pm everyday. Wildlife is slowly taking over and I am not just talking about the typical squirrels, bird and groundhogs. It started with deer which I have no issues with. Next came foxes which actually have a den in the adjacent Mr. Nebo cemetery. They can be frightening at first but ultimately pose no threat. Next came the coyotes, yes you read that right. To me this is not an animal you want to see when trying to pay your respects especially realizing you are between a mom and it’s pup. When we were there

I just want to thank Jolene who was so kind and helpful on the phone with me earlier! It doesn’t matter how many times I come here, I will always get lost. Jolene was patient on the phone and gave me exact directions on how to find the grave of my father, and also offered to come out and find me and help me get there if I still needed assistance. Thank you so much. 💗

Beware of going to this place. I find it very poorly kept up. The older graves are sunken in and they don't condition the dirt to ensure the stones remain visible. My grandmother stone is so deep in the dirt we often have trouble finding it. The grass is cut rarely around it. It looks horrible most times. They seem to me to be very money grubby. The company has money to build yet another mausoleum building, but not keep up with the grounds. When you call the parent company to complain, you get voicemail only. It is the most horrendous cemetery as far as policies.

They need to do a better job maintaining ICPC section . ICPC section where my love is located grounds are caved in and holes on the ground . Requested twice the grounds near my love one site to level the grounds with dirt. Leaves also not cleaned on a regular basis like the other sections that are well maintained. Over flowed with leaves very slippery in the winter! So frustrating!

It's out in NJ, but this Totowa neighborhood area is quite peaceful. There's a wall of tall greenery at parts of the perimeter so there's a bit more privacy. Many spots have already been reserved ahead of time when I went in Aug 2016. Supposedly there's a river nearby too. There are road paths inside so you can drive closer to your loved one if they are far from the main entrance. The main entrance is across the Memorial School so Google map that address instead of the cementary's. May my grandma rest in peace here.
