Originally from London, England, Dr. Jay V. Patel moved to Atlanta as a teen. After completing high school in Alpharetta, he harnessed his passion for art, science and happy people by completing the years of advanced training required to be a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Patel is an orthodontist, which is different from a general dentist.
We offer the benefit and convenience of orthodontics and children's dentistry in the same office. One location, one-time enrollment and the benefit of two specialty services. Whether it's one or more members of your family in our care, everything is just easier. Our doctors work together closely to make sure patients have the best treatment possible.
Your first visit for an orthodontic consultation at our office is going to be comfortable, informative and free! Upon entering, you will be warmly greeted by our team and welcomed into the clinical area after that. There, you will have specialized orthodontic x-rays taken and then go to the consultation area where you can relax in a comfortable chair.
We believe passionately that everyone deserves a healthy and beautiful smile, so we're committed to helping you remove the obstacles that stand between you and your dream smile. For your convenience, we are in-network with most commercial and state insurance plans, including Medicaid. Insurance can be tough to navigate, so feel free to give our office a call with any detailed insurance questions you may have.

Extremely unprofessional service by the front desk people at the Milton location.my 4yr old had an appointment on the 11/17/2021 for a clean up at 4pm.and was denied the service saying that we were late for the appointment by 15mins and for not filling the the new patient forms before coming .when we actually arrived at 4.12pm (just 10-12mins late not like 30 or 45mins)and couldn’t complete the online forms before due to a technical issue(web site was not allowing to proceed without certain data that needed to be clarified with the clinic first ).when we arrived ,the front desk lady went inside

We've been going to the same "high-end" children's dentist in Alpharetta for several years. I got tired of them always charging me for things my insurance didn't cover. Like charging more than what my insurance would cover for a cleaning and having to pay out of pocket for the difference. So we switched to someone in network. I was very happy with the level of care we received. We will be back =)

I have been with this place for around three years, due to my braces treatment. The staff and Dr. Patel is simply great. He's an extraordinary orthodontist that really puts the patient first, the staff is simply so kind and easygoing and they attempt to make everything as comfortable as possible. It was really a joy coming here! Love my new smile!

Dr. Patel is great! He is super informative and doesn’t pressure you into getting anything done, like other doctors. He gives you all the information you need and all of your questions are answered before you leave. Staff is great! Very clean and organized. COVID protocols are in place. Safe environment to be around. Highly recommend!

We love this place! My kids get so excited every 6 months when we head to Georgia Orthodontics & Children’s Dentistry. The whole entire staff is very warm and welcoming. They always make both my kiddos so comfortable. All the financials/insurance/treatment is clearly laid out for me.
Dr Patel (the orthodontist) also saw me as a patient and I can’t get over the amazing results!
