Very rude to young women that waited all day at the burial sight for their grandfather and were the only ones to show. To follow a families request is one thing, but the amount of smiles and jokes coming from your corner was very disturbing to see. Couldnt even tell us when the burial was, knowing no one else was going, and wouldn't even let us say our goodbyes to him before his family that got the honor to attend showed up. Never said anything to us except for yelling at us to move our car after pulling into the spot doing 40 mph with my grandfathers casket in it. Said no words about him, instead

I guess I'm not quite sure why the negative reviews for Phalen. They just did my mother's funeral, and we were pleased through and through. "Shopping" for funeral homes is an ugly experience that one unfortunately must tend to when one least wants to or has the capacity to, when a loved one is on their deathbed or has just passed. I dreaded doing this, as I had heard that shopping for a funeral home is like buying a car: Caveat emptor...funeral directors are evil...they have you over a barrel...notorious for taking advantage of your vulnerable state. Much to my surprise, though, what I experienced
