In over 38 years of acupuncture practice, I have had the privilege of working with thousands of patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine have enabled me to provide holistic medical care, treating the whole person as well as addressing the symptoms that lead someone to seek out acupuncture.
Patients' chief complaints have ranged from acute to chronic conditions, including back pain, sports and accident injuries, arthritis, headaches, asthma, fatigue, digestive problems, sinus infections, women's health issue and many others. I believe that open communication is essential to developing a positive therapeutic relationship.

I am a Massachusetts licensed acupuncturist and a Diplomate of Acupuncture of the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1980, where I studied acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine.
I completed internships with Dr. James Tin Yao So and Dr. Ted Kaptchuk, and also worked at the Pain and Stress Relief Clinic at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, Boston, serving as Senior Staff Acupuncturist.I was also Staff Acupuncturist at the Worthington Health Center in Worthington, MA. I have maintained an acupuncture practice in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts since 1980.
