Such a great experience! Missy is so sweet and I’m very happy with my haircut it sounds like they have monthly specials too! Highly recommend! You can also get some coffee before/after you get your hair done!

Went in for a haircut correction. Had a bad experience at shear excellence in the dialog mall, but this salon was FABULOUS and made me look so much better!!

My haircut is now a leveled bob length and styled for $60.

Love the atmosphere. Clean & friendly. It's odd because it's behind the Sip coffee shop so the entrance is the same. It's like a speakeasy hair salon!

Olivia did a great job! Friendly and professional. And now I feel pretty and get everything I want just from batting my eyes. It’s magic.

The atmosphere of You Beauty Lounge is so warm and welcoming, I had the best experience with McKenzie, she is very detailed and took the time to make sure I was satisfied throughout the process. I can honestly say that going blonde is always a hit or miss with stylists but she did such a phenomenal job. I am absolutely obsessed with the outcome. I will definitely be seeing her again for all my future hair needs. Highly recommend!

I hate having to leave a negative review but i saw someone on here had a similar experience so i thought i should chime in. i went to get a haircut for the first time in years. i wanted feathery layers, without taking off too much length. now i don’t know what’s normal or not, but my hair wasn’t washed or even wetted before cutting, and she went in with a straight razor dry. jasmine took off so much hair that my naturally thicker hair is now thin and short- i feel kind of bald. obviously i’m not bald but it’s a dramatic transformation considering what i was expecting. i left the salon

I've been trying to find a 'home' salon and I believe I've found it! I got a relaxing head massage with my hair washing. I am very picky with who I trust with my curls, but she was experienced, knowledgeable, and knew exactly how to cut&style them. I called two different times to ask about services and stylists to make my choice and both Megan and Mackenzie were kind and helpful. Thank you😁💖

I absolutely LOVE my hair. Mackenzie did an incredible balayage on me. She was so professional, sweet, and very attentive to the details I explained that I wanted in my hair. She took her time and the end product really shows that. This was by far one of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had and I will be coming back.

I love my hair! I even brought my 11 y/o daughter and she loved the result! Phoebe stayed late to finish her hair and get it to the color my daughter wanted. My daughter is very shy and doesn’t really talk a lot but she said she felt comfortable talking to Phoebe. She did an amazing on both of our hair!

Phoebe Ferguson did an absolutely amazing job. I did not have time to do a trial before my wedding, but she put me right at ease and created a wonderful updo that I loved.

Allie did an amazing job on my eye lashes. Today was my first time getting them done by her. And I absolutely love them. she did them perfect. It was the perfect length, and fullness! And she did they in a quick amount of time. Definitely recommend her to anyone wanting beautiful lashes

They turned me away without much reason or explanation when I had appointment that had been scheduled for weeks. They didn't make a single effort to correct the situation or attempt to accommodate my schedule. I have never felt less valued and respected as a customer. They have lost me and my family as customers.

Great atmosphere and great knowledge of staff and I like coffee shop attached and easy parking. If your looking for a new look or style this the place to some from hair to extensions yes please and now serving botox and fillers come on let make your new year a new you!!

I just had a consultation today and oh my gosh, I am beyond excited for them to do my hair. They were amazing and full of confidence and that made me feel good! They even showed me pictures of other peoples hair they had done and it was amazing work.

I have my appointment tomorrow and I will be sure to post pictures of what I know will be a beautiful job that he will do!

First I would like start by saying the staff is amazing! They were so helpful and Willing to work with my craziness! I cannot for the life of me remember who did my hair and I am so sorry but Allie did my make up and it turned out SOOO GOOD!!! Just a great experience over al! I highly recommend going here! They just opened their new facility and it is so beautiful. I recommend you check it out!

Love this place! I was pretty careful looking for a decent place for lash extensions after having not very good experiences or results with other estheticians and salons in town. I see Riley for my lash extensions and my hair. Her work is amazing! The stylists and estheticians actually listen to you and what you like. You will see the cutest hair and best lashes walking out of You Beauty! I highly recommend this place. Its the best salon in Anchorage.

If I could give it a negative rating I would. Shelly butchered my hair. I went in to have my highlights redone. I had honey blonde highlights going in with long hair past my shoulder blades. I asked for long blended layers and pointed below my shoulder, just below my armpit for the length I wanted. Stressed again that I like long blended layers. I showed her a picture of my hair that I liked the cut from years ago. The length and cut were identical to what I said I liked. I also told her I have to wear my hair up at work. She interpreted this to mean shoulder length hair, choppy layers

Made an appointment today on a whim and was able to see Aubrey 2 hours later and let me tell you... this girl gave me the best haircut I've ever had! I know blunt bobs are difficult, but this haircut is flawless. I'm so impressed! The salon itself is cute and in a convenient location. I already have my next appointment booked. :)

I would give 0 stars if i could. Aubrey at Yu Beauty Lounge in Anchorage AK did TERRIBLE job on my highlights. I have natural ash brown hair and wanted to get blondish thin highlights. Instead i got huge chunks of ugly grey all over my head!!! And I paid $180 for it i didnt realize how bad it was until i walked to my car and looked in mirror.....i also took selfies of my hair to see better ..... i burst out in tears!!! Aubrey kept telling me how good it looked and to be honest i wasnt impressed but i thought it was uhhh okeyish . ... not until i looked through my hair in the car.... OMG!!!! It

This is long overdue. I've been coming here for 7 years. Shelley is talented, stylish, and gorgeous. The best part is she listens!! I've always liked my hair long and natural and at times I would come in saying I want shorter, but she knew better. (Of course she would, she's been paying attention to what I've liked all these years). She knows hair and isn't scissor happy. I always leave feeling great and grateful for her expertise. This review is soooo late! But i have to tell you guys what aubrey did for me about a year ago
I brought in a lace front wig (yep wig) and she cut and colored it for me and it turned out amazing! She took a couple days doing it in her free time and really did an amazing job to make it perfect! I lost my hair and this made me feel beautiful!:-) thank you aubrey!! Posting the before and the after photos i can find!

Jennifer is AMAZING with lash extensions!! I had a horrible fill the day prior and she was able to make time for me the very next day to fix my ugly fill (photo below). She made sure to take her time, told me my problem areas with my lashes, and made me feel comfortable/at ease. I trusted her with my lashes and now they are beautiful :)
