Excellent place to stay. Peaceful location on the edge of Lake Champlain. Clean and tidy everywhere. Level pitches. Spectacular sunsets over the lake. Welcoming hosts who ensure your stay is everything it can be - thanks again Emma & J-C. We plan to come back sometime.

Bathrooms could of been more modern and the dryer was out of order. But very nice sites and views. Host were very friendly.

The owners were amazing, they gave us the tour of the site and we had a wonderful talk about wildlife. JC also provided us with local spots to find everything we could ask for including a good kayaking spot to get out to sandbar state park!
Our site was beautiful and quiet. The sunsets were magnificent and the company was pretty amazing as well. I found quite a few other great seasonal folks would go down to watch the sunset together and were super welcoming.
Shower houses were clean.
Some areas of the site is left to be natural so that their local wildlife have places to flourish. It was tastefully

Absolutely incredible campground. We can't say enough great things about it. The views of the lake and the Adirondack Mtns on the other side of the water are beautiful. Very clean and peaceful campground with spacious sites. Lots of green grass and trees throughout. The owners are amazing, friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this campground and plan to come back again.

Beautiful campground, great views of the lake and you can watch the ferries going, great sunset view! We had a partial lake view site and that was nice, some spots were farther up in the grass with no view so I think it’s just based on what is available. I wouldn’t stay again because the owners of the property were rude and it made for an unpleasant check in being told twice we needed to pick up after our dogs and being told twice not to put mats on the crab grass as well as multiple texts before check in about payment which we had already received multiple emails for and multiple check in

We recently stayed here with another couple and absolutely loved the quiet and the scenic views.
The owner guided us to our campsites on his bicycle and assisted in parking our units. Our sites had views of the water and spectacular sunsets every evening.
The Campground was clean with spacious and shady sites. The price was reasonable as well. There is no camp store on premises but there is firewood available and shopping within a mile. This is really just a place to hang your hat while you explore the area as there is no pool and the beach is just a rocky shoreline.

After what’s been a long summer and feeling a bit overwhelmed, fatigued, and depressed, coming to this resort completely rejuvenated me. Absolute sweetest couple who runs the property, makes you feel at home. They likely have the nicest waterfront. Spending time on the water made me feel renewed and at peace.

Beautiful spacious sites on a carefully maintained property. This is not your average campground. Private sites are dispersed along the wooded lakefront as well as grassy shaded spots. Spectacular sunsets. It is one of the most quiet and tranquil campgrounds you will find. The owners are attentive and accommodating.

We felt like we stepped into a garden paradise when we drove in! JC & Emma are delightful, really work hard to keep this place lush, clean & interesting, and it shows. Bravo for running an out of the ordinary park. It's not for everyone, but we certainly couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! Oh, and did I mention the west facing "sunset deck" on the river? Magnificent!

My boyfriend's parents stayed here over 4th of July weekend and the one thing that really rubbed us the wrong way was that when he and I drove in to hangout with them for the day, we were required to pay $10/person just to get into the campground!!! We thought that was absolutely ridiculous.

If you are a seasonal camper or in a Big rig, this may be the campground for you, if you're looking for a shady, private site, look somewhere else. The sites are located in a grassy field, if you're lucky you might get a glimpse of Lake Champlain. The owner will promise you "the best" site, when in reality he's already sold them to seasonal people. You are not allowed any stakes in the ground and required to sign a liability waver. So here you are in the middle of a field in the summer without shade. How do you put up a tent w/o stakes? Also NO mats allowed outside your

If you're tired of packed like sardines on concrete slab style campgrounds, let this spot be your respite. I will echo the sentiments of another review that suggested camping here is more like camping in a garden. The whole acreage is brilliantly appointed: lilac trees were in full bloom while we were there, other flora prevent you from seeing the road while at camp, and the sites are all grassy. My site was so big, I could have my camper, my picnic table, my fire pit with some chairs and still host a small relay race in the space leftover. The view of Champlain is simply stunning and the

Let us preface this review by stating that we do not understand nor agree with some negative comments we have read on a couple of web sites about this magnificent place. This is a 5+ on a scale of 1 to 5 or a 10+ on a scale of 1 to 10 Campground.
We are full-timers traveling in a Class-A motorhome and have stayed at a number of campgrounds, resorts, state parks, and other locations over the last few years. We have seen it all. Champlain Adult Campground is the best campground where we have had the pleasure to stay. The campground makes you feel as though you are in the middle of a garden, rather

Pros:
Friendly owners. Gorgeous property and views. Lake access. Private sites. Reasonable rates. Obedient wildlife. Clean bathrooms.
Cons:
Coin operated showers. Some campsites can hear the ferries 24/7. They aren't necessarily loud but you can definitely hear them.
