Lone Pine Campsites
Known across New England and beyond as "Vermont's Favorite Family Campground", Lone Pine Campsites offers the quintessential Vermont camping experience in one of the most beautiful regions of the state, the Lake Champlain Valley. Located a mere stone's throw from Mallets Bay and 15 minutes from downtown Burlington, our 265 spacious campsites are surrounded by native trees and wildlife.

We provide several RV hook-up options, offer RV rentals, and are happy to welcome tent campers. Everything you'll need is on site, from sports courts and a fully stocked camp store, to Wifi access, two giant swimming pools, laundry facilities, and free weekly rides on a real 1952 fire truck!
Services
Lone Pine Campsites wish to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. Our friendly staff is here to serve you in any way we can. We truly want to put a smile in everything you do during your stay with us at Lone Pine Campsites. Lone Pine's activities are geared for both the young and the young at heart.
There's always a ton of fun stuff for kids to do at Lone Pine Campsites, from a simple swim in one of our swimming pools to awesome activities every weekend. Some of our most popular activities at Lone Pine include candy bar bingo, arts & crafts, nature exploration, ice cream parties, games in the Rec Hall field, and movies with free popcorn.
Tradition takes on a very special meaning at Lone Pine Campsites, thanks in large part to the classic 1952 fire truck that has made our Vermont campground its home for the last three decades. After proudly serving as the city of Burlington's top fire truck from 1952 to 1974, the fire truck was retired.
All rentals include a full kitchen (stove, microwave, full-sized refrigerator), as well as a full bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower). The cabin includes a master bedroom, a second bedroom with a bunk with full bed on the bottom and twin on top and a pull-out sofa and can sleep up to 6 people. NO dogs or pets allowed in our cabins.
While known best for our gorgeous scenery and an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities, Burlington also boasts a diverse array of retail stores and shops that suit a wide variety of tastes. Our city is home to the University Mall, the largest shopping center in the state, as well as the Church Street Marketplace, a world-class collection of several hundred shops, boutiques, and galleries.

We have been here a few times both camping and winter storage. We have enjoyed the team here through attentiveness, cleanliness, and professionalism. Highly recommend over any other camping place in the area.

I'm a full time traveler and have stayed at a lot of campgrounds and rv parks. I'm not too imprssed with Lone Pine compared to other places.
The bad:
1. $0.50 showers for 7 minutes... It's not about the cost, it's the inconvenience. I'm in my 30's, I don't carry quarters on me. Management: charge an extra $1 per day for a spot and get rid of the $0.50 showers.
2. The laundry upkeep does not seem to be a priority, so expect to go to a Laundromat 12-15min away to do laundry if the park is busy. While I was there in October 2021, there were 2 of 8 dryers working. 2 of 8. Management: replace the

We were looking for a family friendly campground near Burlington and we’re so glad we found this spot. While most sites are in the open, the back sites near the woods offer ample space and some nice shade. This is absolutely a family friendly campground with paved roads that were great for biking and two playgrounds to enjoy. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and the coin operated showers were nice and warm. We were there in the fall during the week so it was nice and quiet but I’m sure it’s very fun in the busier months with access to two pools and family activities. We would absolutely

We just left here after spending a week. Overall the campground is nice as the location is perfect being so close to Burlington and all the facilities are nice and clean. It has two swimming pools that were really nice. One claims to be heated but was no warmer than the one that wasn't.
Our biggest complain was the site we were on flooded not once but twice due to heavy downpours. When we inquired at the office about changing sites we were told there was no where to go however the site behind us was empty and dry all week. Hmmm
There is also an ant problem. So many little red ants all over everything

Shout out and a huge THANK YOU to maintenence guys, Robert and John for helping us get our 5th wheel hitch fixed so we could be on our way. We were in a bind, ready to call a mobile RV repair and delay our trip when they came over to help us.
The campground itself was spacious and nice. Laundry room and bathrooms were clean. We recommend Lone Pine!

This is a really great campground. Level, spacious sites. The campground is designed around mobile homes, so sites are very deep and wide. Water is on posts that several campsites share, but this did not seem to affect water pressure. The campground is very clean, well-maintained. Two pools, clean laundry. Great location, just north of Burlington. There is a fire truck for the kids to ride on, and they had a food truck the Saturday that we stayed. Lots of seasonals here, but the campground is kept very nice.

Good experience here, the sites are pretty packed in but we were fortunately on the less busy side, the side with most of the trailers seems to be a lot of seasonal people and those are really packed in and there’s a ton of trailers on that side. Mainly the fact that the campground is so close to Burlington is why we chose it and I would stay again if I was in the Burlington area.
It’s across from a nice bike/walking path but we could not see it connecting to the Burlington path but it goes about 1 mile it seems before you hit neighborhood roads. They also have a ton of laundry machines in

Crammed campsites but they're really well kept. Friendly staff and campers. I'm not sure if there are quiet hours, but if there are, they weren't enforced at my site. What really bugged me was that I had to pay 50 cents to take a 7 minute shower, in what was a gross shower stall. Based on my experience, 3 stars may be generous and I'm not sure if I'd stay here again.

Overall it’s a nice place. If you are tenting tho automatically assume you are second priority. We stayed from Friday night to Monday morning. It was very hot and humid so I recommend a fan. If you are tenting DO NOT get a site near any trees as the caterpillars are very bad. They were EVERYWHERE! Crapping all over our tent and the whole site. People were driving golf carts around until all hours of the morning. I was constantly being woken up by headlights shining straight through our tent. I was also asked to move my vehicle because someone had to use our site to back their camper in. Pool
