This place is the worst place please do not admit your family into this place there is much work to be done i feel for the residents that are still there management is a joke supervisors need retraining the whole team of cna or pca needs new trainging and Proper etiquette training as well if they stay insay wipe the building clean with staff thats there and start fresh If i had a choice or if this was last place on earth my family would not come to this place I pray they get better would love tonpost my personal experience however its no need place is worst then 1 star do jot send your family member

Administrator and DNS are terrible leaders who are are running the place into the ground. Not professional. There is no communication among the staff. The administrator never pops her head out of her office to see what's happening in her own facility. Not a "hands on" leader.
Staffing is always short and only a handful of the workers are professional. Food is terrible.
Housekeeping is doing a poor job of cleaning.
This is use to be a 4 star facility at one time.
You need better management to turn this place around.

I am still waiting for someone, Cassandra, to call me about my husband's missing clothes. I filed a complaint with them and they said they needed more time to look for his clothes. I looked in the laundry myself and only found one pair of pants and shirt. They even put my husband in a Johnny because they said he had no clothes! It has been over 2 months since I filed a complaint and requested reimbursement. I just found out that the eyeglasses that he came out with are not his. They were brand new!!! I am disgusted at being treated with absolutely no respect from the administration.

I worked at Glastonbury Healthcare center. Every weekends it would be one CNA taking care of 30-40 people and when you talk about it the DNS she threaten your job. I was also told that they pay competitive rates. The CNA rate is $13.00 and when I speak to her and human services . she tell me if I wanted to leave I can leave.

I could write a novel about my grandmother's experiences here, but I'll stick with the freshest memory: my grandmother was admitted into hospice here after being in and out several times (I will be having Words with my uncle about his choices, don't you worry), and every time I tried to call to talk to my grandmother, they failed to connect me. The one time the call went smoothly, they turned out to connect me to the wrong room! I had to fight for over a week to get to speak to my DYING grandmother.

I’m reading the recent reviews and feel compelled to comment because my experience with GHCC was very good! My mother went there for rehab after knee replacement. The office staff was helpful, the nurses were fantastic and the rehab therapists were the best. She did the exercises that she was supposed to do, went home earlier than expected and had a full recovery. I understand that grief is hard and people need someone to blame, but this facility does not have a separate ‘hospice area’, nor does it smell like feces!! I have recommended GHCC to family and friends, and would again.

My dad was recently discharged from Glastonbury Health Care Center and just before we left, I spoke with the Head lady to let her know how awesome his care was and how friendly the staff was to him. She had given me a call yesterday to write a review on google. I am appalled to say the least at the reviews given. My dad enjoyed his stay and Glastonbury will be our go to place if we ever need them again! I won't think twice about referring Glastonbury!

My mom has recently completed her rehab stay at Glastonbury Healthcare Center and I was very pleased with the care she received after her hospitalization. The nurses were all caring and attentive to her needs, the rehab team great and energetic, the administration approachable and involved with her care. She was discharged home in great shape and would certainly choose Glastonbury Healthcare Center in the future if she needs it!

I recently stayed here for 7 days and would like to share my experience.
The facility is very clean and the care is Exceptional. The nurses are top notch and the assistants are very attentive to your every need. The physical therapy personnel are some of the best in the area and got me on my feet very quickly. They are understanding of your pain and transition your movement with great care and professionalism.
The food is much better than can be expected and they do try to make every effort to satisfy your tastes. Keep in mind they are cooking for a lot of folks who are on a restricted diet,
