Services
Many of the visible signs of aging, from creased and sagging skin to puffy eyes or droopy eyelids, can benefit from cosmetic procedures that rejuvenate and refresh the face. CD is caused by muscle spasms in the neck. These spasms cause abnormal position of the head and often neck pain. After DYSPORT is injected into muscles, those muscles are weakened for up to 12 to 16 weeks or longer. This may help lessen your symptoms. Frown lines (wrinkles) happen because the muscles that control facial expression are used often (muscle tightening over and over).
JUVDERM XC Ultra and Ultra Plus are smooth gel fillers based on hyaluronic acid which is the active ingredient also used in Restylane-L and Perlane-L. If you live in New York or just visiting and you want glowing flawless skin, you have to go see Dr JoAn Monaco. So I did this peel a few weeks ago and the picture on the right is 3 days after the peel,and on the left is a couple days after. And VOILA!! It’s amazing, like a whole brand new skin. Like she’s the best, she’d always check in to see how your skin is doing and her staffs are all very professional and nice.

Dr. Monaco is very patient and kind, she answered all of my questions and explained how things work. She made very accurate and specific plans for me. I went there for Botox injection on my chewing muscles and she gave me 15units on the larger side and smaller amounts on the other side. After 14 days, she gradually gave me touch up until the best result comes. As I recall, we did it 3 times and she didn't charge me more. Today is the fourth time I went to her office, and the experience remains good!

Dr Monaco went above and beyond any doctor I have ever known.
She is truly an amazing, caring, kind women. I cannot thank her enough for all her support. I went to her for a plastics procedure. She spent over an hour with me, but when she heard my medical history she felt it would be better for me to have the surgery where I live, with the surgeon who did my lung surgery on call in case of emergency . When I couldn't get an immediate appointment, she personally called the drs office and got me an appointment the same day. I am now scheduled for the surgery. I highly recommend her to anyone

What can I say that hasn't been said already: she's great! It was my first time trying fillers and botox and she put me at ease. Her bedside manner is very friendly and sincere. You really get comfortable shortly after speaking with her almost like you're chatting with a friend. She is very patient and answered all my questions. Amazing! I’m turning 50 this year and really left my comfort zone as I’ve never had anything like this done in the past. I went in to see Dr. Monaco for Juvéderm and Botox (between my eyes, smile lines and crows feet) and I couldn’t be more pleased! She took 15 years off of my face and still it remains natural looking and I love that! I first met Dr Monaco in the ER room in 2011 when I needed my chin stitched up after a fall. Her bedside manner was warm and friendly and she proceeded inflicting minimal pain and drama. Aside from the fact that SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB on my chin leaving practically NO scar, what remained in my mind was her genuine,honest and caring manner.

Dr. Monaco is a great doctor! I recently saw her for some old scaring on my chin. Before the treatment, she throughly explained what would happen and what my skin would feel like afterwards. After three sessions, I've noticed more hair growth and noticeable results. The office is well lit and clean. The treatment rooms are big and don't feel cramped. I'm looking forward to returning again soon!

Dr. Monaco treated my son for stitches when he was about a year old and was incredible. She went out of her way to make sure we were all comfortable and was professional and caring, as if it was her own child. The stitches were on his face and there is no scarring at all. Dr. Monaco was always available to take questions or concerns about my son's scar and would regularly check in for photo updates. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Monaco is a magic worker. Her office is friendly, but also pleasantly discreet. Appointments are easy to schedule and actually on time! Dr Monaco is refreshingly honest and direct. She does not push things, is a great listener and knows her stuff. In many ways, I think of her as part skin helper and other part shrink. I met Dr. Monaco in 2008 after a friend of mine had some work done and recommended me to her. I had desperately wanted a breast reduction after year's of back pain and was very nervous about having the procedure done. My immediate impression of her was how compassionate she was. Dr. Monaco is not only an amazing surgeon but compassionate and kind. I've seen Dr. Monaco for different treatments over the years and she is incredibly knowledgeable and always makes me feel very at ease. I also turned to Dr. Monaco for not one, but TWO ER visits with my sons (ages 5 and 6 at the time) when they needed the attention of a specialist. I have made one or two visits a year for many years now to Dr. Monaco's office for things like laser resurfacing, restylane, juvederm and sculptra. She is an expert at application and let me say she is a strong advocate for avoiding cosmetic surgery where skin treatments produce good results. I like that, as other surgeons I've spoken to have always advocated for various forms of face lifts or micro liposuction.

Dr. Monaco is an incredible doctor. She is extremely knowledgable and I have never doubted her for a second. She has been caring for a wound of mine, and she is always accessible via email if I need her between visits. She has never made me wait long in the office, and I'm always able to schedule an appointment when I need to.
