My local dealer (Indiana) found an obsolete NOS part shown in inventory here at HD of Jackson. Despite knowing I was not local and that I would not be in soon to purchase a new CVO, the parts lady (Alanna) truly went above and beyond to help. The part number I gave her was actually the wrong one. Alanna spent nearly 3 hours tracking down the correct SKU for my particular part and sent it to me knowing she was not making a sale - on an obsolete part - just to help a fellow rider out. There was a snag after that which was corrected within minutes. Service like this is incredibly rare nowadays. Truly

This is an awesome dealership. They treat their customers very good. What I like about this dealership is how once a year they cater there store for the riders of Run For The Wall. These riders leave California and ride through different states until they get to Washington DC to visit the Vietnam Memorial. This dealership caters to these riders once a year! Thank you! In 40 years never got the service these guys gave me in a HD dealership. I was riding from Florida to California. Broke down just south of Jackson MS. Took 3 hours to get a tow truck. Wasn’t gonna get to dealership before closing. I called them and they waited for me to get there. They loaned me a vehicle so I could get some dinner and find a place to stay. Had my bike fixed the next day. (Stator went out). They called me. I brought their truck back. Picked up my bike and on my way. All in less than 24 hours.

I only stopped here briefly on my way back from NOLA to Wisconsin. I was looking at used Ultras. I liked the feel of the dealership. It’s old school, not a fancy car dealership.
I’m going to keep an eye on their website. They have an interesting assortment of used bikes. They treated this Yankee fine. Not that phony, back stabbing sweetness I get sometimes in the South.

Probably the worst dealership I have ever visited when it come to cleanliness. When you drive up you don't even know where to park or enter. You walk in and your taking back by the clutter. The more you get into the store to actually shop you can tell most clothing items are very old! Some I purchased many years ago hanging with a original price that's so faded you have to look twice to read the numbers. It looks like a garage sale inside the place. I don't see how this place is still in business. I stopped in to order about $1500 worth of parts. I literally walked over every part of the store for about 30 mins. No one even spoke to me, and I was the only customer in there!! I'll take my business to someone who wants it. No wonder the online market is killing it.

Well I am going to tell you a little story and why I will never ever darken the doors of Harley of Jackson EVER again! This is why Harley is losing customers....things such as this. I actually didn't write it about it at first because I needed to calm down and think about it first and how I was going to handle this. Kudos to this dealership and all the people that helped put together the Trail of Honor. What a great trail it was. Parents with kids should take their children. The t-shirts all have great designs. To the volunteers, thank you for giving up your day for us to experience the event. They have water all along the trail so you never get thirsty in the heat. I especially loved the Salvation Army stop. She told us how donuts were created. Her husband was with the cannons and he told me all about the fabric and how the heat did not bother him. President Lincoln was even present. So glad I drove

Today I broke my word. I said I wouldn't return to Harley Davidson of Central Mississippi. And I totally regretted trying to use them out of desperation. Below is the letter I wrote to the owner/general manager (I deleted his and my name and phone number though his name can be found on their website). All things took place 5-Oct-2015 (today) at 4:13 pm. This is not a plug for Southern Thunder HD as Chunky River HD is a good dealership also. Hell, Harley Davidson of Central Mississippi is the only bad Harley Dealership I've ever seen.

I had a fantastic experience here. I wish I'd have gotten their names but I didn't.
I called yesterday evening to say I was just passing through and when I stopped in Richland I had oil splatters all over my primary and my left boot.
I had Slim at the shop 15 min prior to them opening. As soon as the shop door opened I walked in. The man that greeted me said, "I bet you have a leak." "Yes, sir, I do." He brought the bike in and immediately put it on the lift and went to work. Turns out I had a clogged port. One of the mechs test rode it and in less than 45

I dont get the other reviewer but we had an awesome experience here. We really learned alot about the bike we are looking at. The sale team is awesome.. no pressure... very informative... very very friendly and welcoming... They made us feel like we belonged there and making this lifestyle change is deff what we want. The shop is huge and very organized. They have an awesome old side car with an awesome story to go with it... and the vest... wow... and the old bikes.... you just havta go and stop by. Just like Broad Street Bakery and The Long Horn Steak House here in Jackson all three of these

I remember when this shop was being built and have known Earl, the owner and Homer, the mechanic for a long time. They are good guys, although Earl's twin brother Timmy is an @$$#0!e. This shop has a special kind of character to it and is certainly home to several special characters as well. The folks here are very down to earth, just good old folks who like their motorcycles. I can see where some folks might think the customer service is lacking or where the shop is a little disorganized, but everyone is nice and always willing to help if you just ask. The other patrons are always good

I'm afraid this was a poor example of the customer service I'm used to at a HD dealership. I found the staff to be unfriendly, unengaging, and unhelpful. I'm only glad I'm not from the area as I'd be sad if forced to deal with them regularly. So much for southern hospitality. Looking for a t-shirt? shop somewhere else. Even if it's a drive.
Shame too, shop was good sized. If it was organized, and the staff friendly, they might have something going.
