Traditional Martial Arts (Moo Doe), as it has been practiced over the centuries, has always carried within it the principle of improving yourself. Practitioners dedicate themselves to winning over their own personal condition, whatever it may be, in order to achieve their best possible self physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Oom Yung Doe is true Traditional Martial Art, offering training as it has been taught in Asia for centuries. The goal is not just to improve your condition or self-defense, but to truly "win over yourself" and reach your fullest potential mentally, physically, and spiritually. Adult Martial Arts students (ages 17 and up) learn correct and balanced movements from all eight styles.
Traditional Martial Arts, like Oom Yung Doe, can help us make phenomenal changes in our lives both mentally and physically. Often these powerful movements, which have been practiced and refined over centuries, can give us positive changes we couldn't even imagine before we started practicing. Now is the time to start improving your condition both mentally and physically.

I love martial arts, and I think Oom Yung Doe is the best. It encompasses everything I'm looking for in martial arts training, and I'm continuously amazed by how much I have gained for my mind, body, and spirit. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for more than just combat.

I had a 3rd deg black belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do, and Oom Yung Doe seemed like the next logical progression to learn all of the other styles and weapons development I had been missing out on. I enjoy the focus on physical and mental health benefits, and feel very engaged in all off the traditional knowledge passed down. Have learned at least one new thing in every lesson for the past several years, so there's always been improvement, they never settle for just going through the routine!

Oom Yung Doe helped me recover from two herniated discs in my neck due to whiplash and recover full mobility in my shoulder after a previous rotator cuff repair.

I am a regional instructor and I teach in this school regularly. Before that I was a student and my review is for that time. There is no better place to learn true martial arts. The depth of knowledge and care and teaching skill of the instructors is unmatched. If you want to learn practical self defense, improve your focus and concentration, or just get into great shape I can't recommend this school highly enough.

Not only have I learned powerful/effective self-defense methods, engaging Kung fu and weapon forms, but I also expanded in to internal martial arts which I had never considered practicing before.
Also, all the challenges that come with training have helped me grow as a person much faster than I would have otherwise.
I highly recommend Oom Yung Doe Martial Arts.

I've been doing martial arts in one form or another for over 20 years. Durring that time I earned black belts in both ITF style Tae Kwon Doe and Shorin Ryu style Karate as well as various other ranks in Kung Fu and Juijitsu. I've been around and I can say hands down that Oom Yung Doe is the strongest style I have ever practiced.
The depth of understanding from the line of instructors (ranging from local level instructors at 1st or 2nd Degree Black belt to 9th Degree Masters) on how to move and how to tailor each movement to different body types and conditions is amazing.
