We have been with Sensei Tom at Highlands Judo Dojo for over 2 years now, and I feel so very fortunate. I brought my son in as a wild, high energy 7 year old who couldn't sit still in class for 5 minutes (let alone stop talking for a second ), who at 9 is a respectful, attentive, active participant in all his classes (judo and at school). We have been looking for something for our son to get into and discovered highlands judo. I emailed right away and the owner responded so quickly! He said my son could come watch if he wanted or even try for free to see if he likes it. We decided just to sign him up and he loves it! The gym was clean and everyone was really nice. Looking forward to seeing where this takes my son.

He's a freaking SAINT when you see his youngest class. Sensei Tom is the perfect mix of patience and discipline for that age group. He must get frustrated at times but it doesn't show. I love watching the kids try new exercises
