Opening up her first salon in 1996 in Colorado, Vivian has since made a name in the industry for herself here in Colorado Springs. This place is very clean and nice I will say that, I had gone here for years. I stopped coming here after they stopped caring about actually perfecting my nails. My nails looked outgrown after leaving the shop because they don’t cut off cuticles. the sides of my acrylics are always lumpy and not shaped well yet they charge the same price as nail shops that actually take the time to cut off cuticles and shape the nail perfectly. I just feel like they rush and don’t care.

I had a lovely time at this place. The place is gorgeous and has character, with big koi fish and real ivy that wraps around the ceiling! My nail techs were all very nice and, despite being short-staffed, offered excellent service. I’ll be coming back!

My nails are lumpy. The lady didn't even check to make sure my nails were the same length which they aren't. She also put my middle nail on tilted. She rushed and just did a poor job. This place used to be so good. I am heavily disappointed. Not only did they mess up my nails they messed up my friends too.

My nails last FOREVER when i get an acryllic set done here. Prices are a little high, but the quality and durability of the gel polish is worth the extra money. I’ve only been twice, but both times the man doing my nails was friendly and seemed like he could do an acryllic set in his sleep. I would recommend this place to a friend :)

Avoid going here if you can. And if you do have to go here, avoid Amy. She does terrible work. Two nails came off after less than a week and one is loose. When I went back to tell them about this, they said there was nothing they could do and that it must have been 2 weeks since I got them done. Overall very disappointed and I would strongly encourage you to go to pretty much any other nail salon in Kenosha.

I visited for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. I am extremely pleased with the experience. My nail tech was so gentle and sweet! I got a full set of French tips with gel polish. She also put lotion on my hands and massaged my hands and arms, something I've never had done at any other nail salon! If you want an awesome experience, ask for Vivian!!

I scheduled an appointment for a dip powder and pedicure. I was sat at a pedicure station 15 min after arrival and my services didn't start until around 230. My tech was a male who appeared to be in a hurry. He didn't use a cuticle remover and he gave me the massage from hell. He was very heavy handed and fast, he was even scratching me with his nails. I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I wanted so I'm assuming they gave everyone the same thing because they were busy. Their colors on their color wheel don't match the actual polish so I ended up having to get two colors

My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary by getting a relaxing mani/pedi. The experience put a sour mood on our celebration.
First time getting an "ombré French" nail. NOT HAPPY! My cuticles were not taken care of in the beginning & were either bleeding or swollen by the end of the manicure. The painting of my nails started out nice. But then the edges were not smoothed out for a blended look. The point of where the white ends is VERY noticeable & tacky looking.
I returned the next morning to remove the polish because the acrylic polish was unbearably painful!! The technician

I'd never gone to fancy nails before so I decided to give it a try. I walked in with a family member and they we're warm and welcoming and asked what we wanted. They squeezed us in just in time to get our nails done. At the end, over all the nails were good my cuticles have a couple of hang nails but the service was good. It depends on what you get ranging from the price ( I got dip for $50 with added tips on my nails).

I wanted to give this chance I really did but after 2 time I give up. I've gotten a full set and a fill both with no chip polish here. The nails last maybe 5 days before these pop up, chip, or completely fall off in general. My friend who comes with me got the same thing just with regular polish. Both times the techs smudge her nails and just paint over it. The techs start off nice but once they found out we were college student they started lecturing us like children about getting fancy work done as a student. We were offended considering we are both STEM majors, support ourselves and work

Shady dealings. Tech asked me to use the "free" ATM instead of running my debit card. I reluctantly did even though I had to withdraw more than I needed. No disclosure there was a fee to use the ATM which is required. Got a $3.00 charge from my financial for the use of their ATM today. I didn't love the place before this happened. Now they lost a customer over $3.00.

Not too impressed with Fancy Nails.. poor selection of colors, only DND gel colors, no OPI or Essie. The tools seem unsanitary, I wasn't able to see them leave the sterilizer or package. Overall just not a quality salon. Only came here because Kenosha Nail Bar is closed on sundays. Next time I'll make the drive to Lake Bluff or Libertyville for a good salon and experience, also not worth $75 whatsoever! Every nail has an air bubble or the gel is uneven. I would never go back to this place again. I spent $95 plus a tip and the lady that does nails at seat #4 messed my nails up badly. I was going to let it slide, but my no chip was chipping and I had only been 2 days. So I called back, and spoke with someone about them they said I can come in, the lady who sits at seat #1 (sorry didn't get names) had a attitude the whole time fixing them mind you had to get both my nails and feet re done. I don't usually post negative reviews, but for the cost, I should be happier with the final results. I allowed myself to be talked into a gel manicure, rather than a standard polish because "this will last you 2-3 weeks- the other won't last at all." A week later, this is what my nails look like. Because he filed them while wet, my nails first started breaking on the sides, then the polish started cracking and peeling. I won't be going back.

On Thursday 6/13/19 decided to go here for a no chip fill the same day my nail chipped..went back the next day because any nail place I've ever been to would fix it free of charge.. after waiting over a hour they wanted to charge me $20 mind you I paid $33(including tip) the day before. Will never go back there again!!! The quality is mediocre anyway!!

Would not recommend coming here! The place is overpriced for the quality of work they provide. Not only that, they do not know how to properly remove nails! Instead they torture you by improperly peeling them off instead of soaking them. They then file too closely to the point that you bleed! Not professional at all! The service is horrible. Not friendly to black people coming in. Scheduling ahead doesn't matter still had to wait for 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment!!! On top of that they scam you for your money! Was really disappointed last time I was there. Went in to get my dip nails taken off, but was left soaking in acetone for 40 minutes; the skin on my fingers is completely destroyed. I've been getting dip powder at other places for about a year, and never have I let them soak for more than 10 minutes. When I felt it was long enough at 20 minutes, I took my hands out but was scolded by the technician at the station next to mine. Finally someone came by and noticed that whoever set me up, had done it wrong so she gave me a new bowl to soak but it was still much too long and extremely unhealthy

I did a no-chip Polish yesterday and the polish already lifted on my nail. The woman rushed through them. A no-chip manicure will last me 2-3 weeks anywhere else. This was my second time at Fancy Nails and it will be my last. The first time the polished lasted 1 week before it lifted. I'm so disappointed.

Staff was very friendly and was one of the only places doing walk ins on a Saturday. Got a mani and pedi and they were very parient with my indecisiveness in choosing a color. When getting a full -set gel set, the technician didn't listen so much to the length and shape that I wanted but I trusted her and they ended up turning out great. Only complaint is that a couple nails are a bit crooked but they still look great!

I had dip nails done here 7 days ago. After 3 days one of my nails completely fell off and when I went back to have them fix it they charged me. I didn't care about the three dollars, that was beside the point. The point was that dip nails are not supposed to fall off like that.. so I leave the salon and come home and unzip my jacket and another nail breaks in half and today my thumb nail cracked. HOW is this possible? I will never go to fancy nails again. It's just not worth the headache and the stress to have to keep going back and paying for them to fix these nails that should not
